Chribba has his very own Veldnaught in Amarr 1.0 space. Are there any other hi sec cap ships around? I'm sure this question has been asked before but my forum-fu is weak at this time of night. ____________________

This can't be, the capital yards which were needed to produce caps were all offlined with the same update where the rorqual was introduced. If it's got there in another way it's an exploit and it should be removed from highsec, since a rorqual can be used with a high advantage in highsec, compared to other caps.

Sobaseki, to be precise. Which means there are (at least) two capital ships in Sobaseki.
I've heard of capital ship(s) being in Airaiken, but can't confirm. |

Once in highsec, they are stuck in the system. The only place they can jump to is lowsec and then there's no way back.
I think for purpose of sale, caps (dreads and carriers) should be possible to build in highsec but, if not already fitted, they can't be fitted with mods in highsec or just basic survival mods for use when moving to it's place of residence like resists and shield boosters/armor reppers and such but no weapons or offensive mods. If fitting them is allowed, they are fitted offlined and can't be onlined until you reach lowsec. Fighters cannot be deployed in highsec but can be put in the bay.
This will open up a new market, preferably outside Jita since only 0.5 systems can have shipyards for this. One system from lowsec so it makes sense. -- There's a simple difference between kinky and perverted. Kinky is using a feather to get her in the mood. Perverted is using the whole chicken. Check out jump freighters again I think you will find that you need capital ship skills to fly it. For example Jump Drive Op and Jump Drive Cal --------------------

You're correct, however, I think your average jump freighter lacks a certain capacity to be overpowering in high sec space. Besides, it cannot use its cyno capability in high sec, excepting for the ability to leave it for low sec/0.0.
The presence of a fleet of Rheas and Charons wouldn't quite have the impact of a fleet of Chimera and Pheonix. In the event of an emergency, my ego may be used as a floatation device.

#1 there will never be a fleet of highsec caps (other than the orcas and jf's in jita) theyre all spread out and have no way of coming together. #2if you use them for anything that gives you an advantage over other players, this includes remote repping, bumping/looting / deploying combat drones, ccp will move it to lowsec. theyre just eye candy and slow miners. ------------------------------------------

im aware of that. so does the black ops. niether require the skill "capital ships" hence I dont believe any of those vessels count as capitals. ...in accordance with the prophecy |

I was calculating this, the caldari freighter can get to 1mill m3 space when the freighter skill is at V..
A carrier or a dread is 1mill m3 packed, which means it goes straight into the cargo of the cldari freighter.
How is that with customs or will the freighter allow that ship to be put into the cargo hold even it fits compared to numbers ?

i was under the impression theyd made sure the largest frieghters holds were JUST smaller than the packaged caps.
I know the obelisk is quite a bit smaller im not sure on the caldari one tho ...in accordance with the prophecy |

Charon has 785000 m3, and with freighter V skill = 25% increase = 785000 * 1.25 = 981250 m3, and then there is a cargo optimizer head implant right ? With a 2% implant you get: 785000 * 1.25 + (785000*1.02 - 785000) = just above 1mill. right ?

There is no Cargo Capacity implant. Therefore, the largest cargohold is 981,250 m3. --- Sig Starts Here --- Lord Haur - Imperial Academy Logistical Support

Cargohold Optimization II gives a 20% cargo capacity bonus. Unfortunately, freighters do not have rig slots. If they did, the capacity of the Charon would be 1,570,000 m¦ with Caldari Freighter Level V and three Cargo Optimization II rigs.

There was a Gallente dreadnought outside a station in Caldari space somewhere yesterday, (I forget where) launching snowballs at people who undocked.
