umm.
check the MARKET.
little button on right panel that has isk symbol on it while docked at most stations...
do a region wide search for "punisher" - normally lots around newbie amarr systems.
/me scratches head and looks at 3 punis in hangar... what you mean none around?

I love the Punisher, the elite one will be a definate for me.

Which means you can not get it (easily, at all?) to 2 km per second speed.
- high weight
- low starting speed (even fitting 4 overdrives won't help)
- only 2 mid slots
- only 3 turrets out of 4 high slots
- poor max target range
You really have to stretch to find a good role (besides running lvl 1 missions) and squeze the ship in there. And then there are other ships already there better at that.

Yeah, it's not usable for much anything than winning frigate (PvP) destruction derbys.

Actually, the punisher has the most cap of all the frigates, and thus can easilly power dual 1MN MWDs indefinately - far easier than any other frigate and thus can do 6.5km/s, well, forever.
Now, with the 2 mid slots all used theres not much else you can do with it for sure :P But it is easilly the fastest of all the non elite frigates :P

Actually didn't they fix that there mass problem with the puni in a recent patch? As far as I remember the Merlin is still now the slowest of the frigates.

I belive (from memory so I could be wrong) that the punisher has 20m/s faster base speed and 25000kg less mass than the Merlin (They fixed the masses). Fit it with 2 mwds and watch it go

I still want the punisher the bloods use, and the merlin variant that the guri use. The variant that has the two extra engines and 1 more turret mount.

punisher = you wtfpwned in 20seconds
punisher is one of the best PVP frigates in EVE :D
unless your fighting a cruise missile launching breacher like the ones CFS uses those cheap bastards.
