EVE Search - freezing, rebooting : NVIDIA latest drivers in cause....?!!???!!!!!

Mc Colin	Posted - 2004.07.19 08:24:00 - [1] Hello, A friend of mine have a gfx5600 and have updated to latest nvidia drivers. I got a gf4 ti4400 and have updated to latest drivers too. Since that what have happened to her : Freezing while playing eve, total hardware reboot needed. This happened more and more often. Then rebooting started to occur, and now the pc even can't stay on more than 5 minutes. What is happening to me : since i've updated (just after updating) my nvidia drivers (4.0.7.2) my computer is freezing sometimes while playing eve. Any of you have this same issue ? With latest nvidia drivers and issue happened just after upgraded ? If it's the case, men how can a game crash with latest most poular drivers ???? Other idea : it could be latest nvidia drivers + audigy sound card. But less obvious. You can add ideas here, or [email protected], or aim : OFPBrotherbob Thanks for all. That driver you mentioned does not look like an nvidia driver. You shouyld have something like 56.03. I am using beta driver version 62.01 which are good so far. That driver you mentioned does not look like an nvidia driver. You shouyld have something like 56.03. I am using beta driver version 62.01 which are good so far. NisseHult	Posted - 2004.07.19 11:27:00 - [13] I know for sure its something faulty with Nvidias latest drivers. When i try to look at G card options it just freeze, had to get the next newes drivers so my card would work as it should.

XesioR	Posted - 2007.08.03 11:34:00 - [21] i have a : Ati Radeon X800GTO, updated drivers. i get BSOD, freeze, reboots and such. these are all bugs of eve. the main 2 things causing this are : Bugs from the engine at wich the games runs on, and the sound engine. so a tip : Mute all sound ingame, and set you pc configuration not to reboot on error.
