As the title suggests I'm stuck, support fleet seems to have fallen apart and since Carriers can't jump by themselves I'm dead in the water (figuratively speaking of course).
I'm essentially in 0.4 space where I bought my Thanatos, it's reasonably well kitted out and I have a myriad of other ships but for obvious reasons I'm most interested in my Thanatos and as you know Carriers are big targets and can't jump out of a system without help.
Little background info on me, been playing Eve on and off since beta back in '03, kept my account active for most of that but since I've been busy I've not trained continuously, got around 14 million skill points not a lot for an account that started at launch.
I was part of the founders of 'The Peoples Front of Minmatar' (TPFM) back in the day and was quite quick to own a Battleship when most could barely afford Cruisers, lost that BS and many others in some interesting fights, suffered from dialup lag back then and Electronic Warfare was in it's infancy, not even EW frigates were available, mainly Blackbirds and occaisionally a Raven, my Freedom Fighter/Terrorist days (one mans Terrorist is anothers Freedom Fighter so please don't hold it against me :) ) are long since over, my sec rating is an average 0.46 since most of our activities back then were corp wars rather than piracy and over the years I've dabbled with all sorts of missions and killed tons of npc rats.
Lord Zapp was the number one pirate at the time in his Megathron BS when I was most active so if you remember back that far then you'll know how long it's been since I was hopping around space with a real purpose.
I played quite a bit back then but disappeared for quite some time, I've only logged on since to continue training on and off, I spent quite a while mining to make some capital and then buying and selling just about everything and making quite a lot of profit, enough to buy the skills to fly carriers and buy one, I've been sitting in an old stagnant corp I created and the friends I had who were going to support me are currently not playing, so I'm stuck.
I was an experienced pilot, but frankly I'm way way out of touch, have a lot of catching up to do, are you a Corporation that can offer me a home? perhaps just as important are you able to get me to that home? I know it's likely I'll lose my carrier at some point but I'd rather than wasn't during the move to my new home.
I'm probably going to be a little busy over the next couple of weeks but none the less I'd like to see who's out there and willing to help, in return you'll get an intelligent player piloting a Thanatos, with Gallente, Minmatar and Caldari BS skills maxed, Hulk skills/ship for your Corporation, I'm looking for a Corporation who can handle the trek to their space from 0.4 space in the Lonetrek region.
All that stuff aside I'm a nice guy with a very high end pc and around ten years of MMO experience, not that anything outside of Eve is remotely similar ;)
Look forward to hearing from people.
BTW this isn't my main, Anonymity was a character I created to spy in Amarr space once upon a time, I'd rather not broadcast my main characters name in the forums so every fleet can keep their eyes peeled for me in local. |

Hey check out we see dead people. Pretty cool pvp corp with a few cap pilots and plenty of cyno pilots to help get you around. I think its a requirement. either train for cap ship or cyno pilot..lol Most people are 15 mil sp and more with a few over 40 mil sp. We have 0.0 space, vent, forums and all that other good stuff. Just a cool corp looking for a great adventure in eve. if interested convo merciless markus or imma killue ingame to chat.

No probs, I was going from memory so probably got something wrong, I'll check when I get home, wasn't able to log on from this laptop so I knew I'd have something wrong.
Decided to post with my main char, seem like plenty of decent corps out there no point hiding anymore.

Ok, used a friends pc to download the client (gotta love modern day broadband)seems I don't have Caldari BS, I thought I did since I spent so long in Caldari space and was originally planning on flying a Chimera, but still, have Minmatar/Gallente BS maxed, and of course Skills for Hulk/Thanatos.

Ok, some great info here guys, I'll probably drop people a line in the next couple of weeks for a chat.
Keep posting, the more options the better.
After much thought I've decided it would be plain stupid to take my Thanatos out when I'm so far out of touch, so I'd probably be better getting back into the swing of things in something much less valuable, I'd kick myself if I lost around 1.5 billion credits worth of hardware because I don't really know how to use it properly.
Still looking for a decent corp to join, learn the ropes in and eventually set my Thanatos to use in.
