EVE University Launches Three New Training Corporations
EVE University [E-UNI], the premier training institution in EVE Online for over 8 years, with alumni in thousands of different corporations and alliances, today announced the creation of three new sister corporations: EVE Akademie for German speakers, EVE Institut for Russian speakers and, to assist the new Japanese EVE players, EVE Daigaku.
These new corporations have been created to fill the gap in the marketplace for non-English-speaking training groups covering all aspects of EVE, and will leverage the existing structure, resources and training materials of EVE University. Each will have their own language specific communities, classes and events, but will combine forces for fleet operations as part of the Ivy League Navy.
Each individual corporation will be run by its own Director of Operations, reporting to E-UNI CEO Kelduum Revaan with staff filling critical positions below them. Native speakers of German, Russian and Japanese are currently being sought to assist in staff positions and localizing various materials.
Kelduum stated: GÇ£For some time EVE has been lacking localised equivalents of EVE University for non-English speakers, and with our resources and alumni network, it makes sense to utilize this to bootstrap the relevant corporations.GÇ¥
Each of the new corporations are expected to open individually in the next few weeks, dependent on staffing and other resources, and are expected to launch with E-UNIGÇÖs existing programs of classes, mentoring, ship replacement, hangars and skillbook reimbursements, among other resources provided to new players.
If you would like to assist and are a fluent speaker of German, Russian or Japanese, please either EVEmail Kelduum Revaan or email [email protected] for more details on how you can help.
EVE University is is a neutral training institution in New Eden. Founded in March of 2004 by Morning Maniac, EVE University takes in pilots who have a desire to learn more, and train them in all aspects of EVE Online, allowing them to be fully capable of making a name for themselves in the galaxy. I know this is a troll where you're trying to insinuate that living in fountain and having an agreement to give new players the ability to go to 0.0 and learn the ropes is somehow moving them to a 'side' and this isn't so much of a question as an insinuation that they are in fact joining the CFC or becoming a pet of some sort,
but they are not getting standings to the CFC. |

So that means four times the cost to keep them perma-wardeced then? Alice: Geez, Bob, you taunted the Goons and now they want to kill you. Bob: Should I call the police? Alice: In game, Bob, kill you in game. Bob: Ah, so petition it *and* call the police? |

Ivy League has already been blue to Dreddit (the founding corporation of TEST) for a couple years. There was a recent reset but the new standings are really just restoring the old status quo. |
