Usually I don't like to whine, even considering I pay for this game, because I think it's useless. But I'm doing it now, because I feel nothing will move if I don't do it
10 days ago I lost a Typhoon that was fully insured, and I got only 30 millions from insurance. I did nothing to break the insurance contract. I made a polite petition right away to signal that bug and ask for the rest of the money. Three days later, seeing no answer to the petition, I made a second second one, just in case they hadn't received the first.
Now, one week later, I still doesn't have any answer.
I spoke about it to some friends, who told me that you often have to wait more than two weeks for a petition to be examined. Am I the only one who find that lack of at least a reasonnably fast answer from CCP disappointing? We're all customers, that give us a right to have support in the rare cases one of us has a problem that can't be solved by waiting for a patch... Sure, CCP is busy, but shouldn't petitions have priority over addings things that may bring more bugs?
I hope posting here will change something at least for this bug, and it's consequences, but I'm beginning to wonder if I'm not dreaming :/

So what exactly have you done to be given help before other subscribing players? Also the Devs do not do not handle petitions, they pay Gamemasters to do i believe.
Anyway, my petition a while back got answered within 24 hours. Kind of strange that they havent answered after a week. ---------------------------

It took about 8 days before a problem i had was resolved, im guessing with all the hardware problems of the last month the petition que is huge, so its best to just wait.

you can check the progress of "other" petitions on this website.
go to the support section, and choose "my questions"
It might just be that they have requested further info and you have not replied....

I've never had to wait more than 8 minutes or so for a petition response....

I think it's important to differentiate the difference between an actual in-game petition, ie. an exploit or stuck petition, or the general type which in reality take the form of an E-mail dumped to the support@ queue, which we all know is just a symlink to /dev/null.
I'm too ****ed to detail my latest bout of chronic in-action that CCP calls support.

Where did you saw that I demanded for my petitions to be taken care off before the others? When I complained about the time it takes, I was speaking for EVERY petitions.
Developpers or Gamemasters, what does it change to the problem? They don't do the same work, I agree, but they're still CCP personel, no?
I use Yahoo mail, which put mails suspected of being spam in a separate directory, and I took care to check every of them before deleting them.
Woetra: Thanks for the info, but I can't enter in the support section. When I put my mail adress it say that this adress doesn't exist, and when I try to create an account with that adress it say that it's already in the database. Maddening...

your support password is different to your user login, try requesting the password be emailed to you if you have not done so already, otherwise I'm all out of ideas

I know Hotmail for one deletes emails from certain addresses before they even reach your inbox. I have no clue if Yahoo does it as well but it would be quite possible. ---------------------------

I had the exact same bug a while ago (with a thorax). it did take them a while to fix it, but while I was waiting, they did send several mail's. if you recieved those, then yust wait like the rest of us, they are working as fast as they can. if you diden't recieve those... then you've got a problem
currently recruiting euro players. |

I tried to put a Tech 2 BP on escrow (which doesn't work) and I got an e-mail responce to my petition the next morning. It took several days after that to get resolved but I got a responce the next morning. Maybe you put your e-mail address in wrong? I know that sounds simple but you should check.
