I was browsing through the forums the other day and looking for fellow swedish players and what I found was very suprising. I noticed that alot of players are actually docked in S÷dertSlje (same place as me) and I belive even the celebrity Chribba was among the ones in our relativly small town.
So ofc I thought that a gather shouldn't be that hard, there are enough places for drinks and Stockholm is only 35 min away by train. In any case I wanted to see if I'd get any respons and to check if more people were interested in getting together with other EVE fanatics and discuss the latest happenings in-game and out.

Sounds fun, I'll come if the date is good, and the place is semi-close, I live in Uppsala so Stockholm is a good to go.

I'm currently looking at having this gathering between the 10-14 of January. Depending on how many people want to show up then I can decide whether to have it in a pub or in an apartment.
One pub that I'm currently considering is http://www.wirstromspub.se/ in Gamla Stan... I've never been there but I hear it's a nice place with live music (soul and blues) and they happen to have a blues band coming the 13th of January. Also they do serve food so everyone could meet up at around 18:00pm instead, that way people who has to get home by train again could do so with the train leaving central at around 0:30.
PS. For those of you who want to come but are to far from Stockholm to make it there and back again in 1 day I'd like to recommend looking for places to stay the night. So far I can arrange for 1 person so make sure you're not gonna have to take in to a hotel or something.

Sounds fun, I'm from Uppsala and I'd probably go, depending on the date. Back to uni and girlfriends birthday on the 12th

The 13th it is then. I'm gonna take the train up to Stockholm and see how many we can expect to fit in the pub. I don't think it's very large but if any more players close to Stockholm wants to come and join us 4 that I have right now then you are more then welcome. Finding a place to meet is the easy part

Just want to let everyone know that this meeting is still on, I'm hoping more people will see this and I'm going to try and get about 3 EVE buddies of mine with me so that we atleast can safely call ourselves a fleet :P

I'm sorry but I won't be able to make it tomorrow, just got a new job and I need to get settled and fix stuff there and my economic situation isn't looking that bright either a.k.a. jag Sr luspank. But i'll be there for the next one, and maybe not put in on a weekday? |
