Caldari Navy Raven A Good replacement for a Raven when you don't have the skills yet for a Golem Drake Awesome Level 3 ship, and with the right skillz you can do Level 4's as well Kestrel Great Level 1 Ship. should be your first step towards the Goelm when it comes to missioning. Mining Bantam Amazing ship for starting off, the bonuses make this the best choice for noobs who need ore. Osprey Special Ability: 20% bonus to mining laser yield per level. This makes it an awesome Mining ship and it will out mine a Procurer and costs a lot less. Rokh 8 T2 Miners and enough CPU to fit more Mining Upgrades then any other ship. This thing can mine as much as a Retriever, but lack the cargo space. PVP Caldari Frigates Junk Caldari Cruisers Caracal is the biggest POS in the fleet. Moa will be out classed and out gunned by everything it comes up against. Black Bird is the only worth while ship in the group for PVP, with minimal ECM skills you will be the biggest PITA to anyone your small gang fights! Drake I have seen HAM Drakes EAT Brutix for dinner. But Heavy Missles will do almost nothing to most everyone. This ship is good for 1 thing only... BAIT! If you put enough tank on it it can survive 60,000+ HP damage. I have a Drake that have 45k RAW shields before resists. Ferox In a dedicated small gang this ship with Blasters can be the death to almost anyone. Raven T2 Torp Raven can eat almost any other BS for dinner... as long as its not moving very fast. But since the Nerf, you will need to pack a TP to get full damage and that hurts your tank alot. It's also very slow and have no real TANK after you fit it for PVP. Not much of a SOLO PVP ship at all. Rokh Great Sniping ship, lots of power if fitted properly, and it's nice to have on the front lines of a fleet battle. Also makes a nice addition to a Small gang when fitted with blasters. Scorpion Wasted ship sadly. It's great at ECM but you will not live long enough to make any difference. Falcon Best ECM Ship in the game. You will be able to lock people down faster, futher and better then any other ship in the Caldari fleet! Fly this ship and have good skills to back it up and you will come home from every fight and your team will love you for it! Manticore Best Stealth Bomber in game. If you had a gang of about 6 of these all with bombs, you could destroy any gante camp... and your wallet. But still good for long range **ing off. Very handy to have 1 or 2 sitting cloaked picking off jammers and the lot. Vulture A great Command ship, with the proper fit it can tank insane amounts of damage! Overload that Rack of Hardeners and Booster and you can tank groups. But lack any kind of offence that will make a difference. Also as soon as you run out of CAP or overheat.. Game over man Game over. Cerberus It's just not that great anymore since the speed Nerf. Doesnt have enough damage output to get the job done before you die in most cases. Onyx IMO it's the best HIC in the game. It can tank like a beast and has speed to match. Crow Still the best Interceptor in the game, not the fastest but the easiest to kill people in for sure. Basilisk Crap on it's own, but get 3 daisy-chaining and you can do amazing things. But that's a very rare thing to see. Chimera It can tank better then any other Carrier for the short term. It's drone bay is a ing joke when compared to the other carriers. Phoenix** Has the highest Alpha strike of any of the dreads and can change out DMG type. But over all it dies faster then the others. Caldari needs some SOLO PVP ships. We are being left out of SOLO fun! ------------------------------------- The difference between a Pirate and an Anti-Pirate is that an Anti-Pirate fights ships fitted with guns! Heavy Missiles have an important place in PvP even on Drakes, it allows you to hit things that may be 50km or so from you. Cerb is a great ship still. Nice DPS at crazy ranges. Scorpion is a powerful BS. Maybe it comes at a price when you fly the best solo mission race and have the best ewar fleet ships. Just a thought but balance might work in that way. Other races might complain about having completely useless ewar ships, broken weapon systems and so on. No race is good at everything but just because some things are currently more favored than others doesn't mean that your race is broken when it doesn't fit your current playstyle.

Even with 15 fighters, you still have enough drone bay for hundreds of combat/logistics/ECM/combat utility drones, hell, I even have enough for ten mining drones for those really weird days when I feel like doing something odd. If you're a carrier pilot that needs to burn through that many drones just to stay in the game, you really suck as a carrier pilot... And yes, it works quite well to shield tankt the rifter, tho I only pick samll targets. I used to use a kestrel and merlin, but the rifter outperforms them with ease, sadly.

A taranis or crusader, properly set up, will eat them alive in short order. Cerberus is actually a fine ship, since it can be quite versatile. HAM-fit does decent damage, HML fit can spam missiles across a whole grid and you can fit one up to smite inattentive Falcons as well. Also, you don't mention the Nighthawk at all. As well as being arguably one of the best PVE ships around you'd be surprised at how effective that explosion velocity bonus is for pvp as well. You can actually hurt orbiting frigates with one (especially if they're using a MWD), which is still pretty difficult for turret ships unless they pimp tracking. You can also butcher HAC's with it and it can mount enough tank to deflect heavy firepower. Putting the 'irate' into 'Pirate'
