Paladin Imperium would like to express its support for the recent military action against the Blood Raider Covenant conducted by the forces of the Khanid Kingdom.
Whilst currently engaged against Sansha's and other piratical forces in and around the Empire, Paladin Imperium will heed the call to arms should any assistance or aid be required or requested by the Kingdom

Indeed, the continued existence of the Blood Raider Covenant and its various sub-cults are a continuing stain upon the honor of both the Amarr Empire and the Khanid Kingdom. It is good to see that the Kingdom is working to eradicate this nest of fanatics and their insanity.
Accordingly, we all should also honor the sacrifices of the noble men and women of the Royal Navy and Army that have lost their lives in this action and give thanks that they gave so freely that we all may benefit from their sacrifice.
Hail the victorious dead.

Should The King require it the 1st Khanid Rifles, ever loyal, will join the fighting swiftly and decisively. We remain deployed in an expeditionary and advisory capacity in Tash-Murkon until such time as His Highness, God willing, sees fit.
Long live Khanid II! Glory to the Royal Khanid Navy!

It was truly a heartwarming moment when the Khanid Navy announced their strikes against the Blood Raiders. There are no pirate organisation so vile as the Blood Raiders, and the strikes will surely destabilize them. I only feel sadness and grief for all the losses the brave Khanid soldiers suffered during the strikes.

Congratulations on the Kingdom on driving out some of the cultists lairing in their region. Only a few years after the Empire took similar measures in smashing the Blooder strongholds in the Bleak Lands.

The one thing the Amarr Empire, Minmatar Republic, and Khanid Kingdom agree on - heck, the one thing just about every major political group in the cluster agrees on - is that the Blooders are a disgusting mess that needs to be dealt with.
Glad to see someone is doing something about it. ----------------------------------------------

Aye, the Empire had their turn against them.
Doriam's reign, though short, was marked by this Victory.

I'm well aware of Emperor Doriam's campaign against the Raiders. If only his reign had not been cut so tragically short, perhaps the Kingdom would not need to police the heretics and murderers in our place.
I've obfuscated my disdain too much, it would seem. If one considers that the Empire and it's ruler are, in poetic terms at the least, considered to be one, then my meaning should become clear.

The weak have been culled, nothing more. As for unity... the weak always cling to the strong. No greater union has ever been born than one born of necessity.
You celebrate this as some sort of victory. I say cling to your false hope.
Your fall will be so much more satisfying. |

A great victory indeed, or so the News say, but I cannot help but wonder about the Khanid Forces that were left behind or captured by the Blood Raiders.
A part of me thinks that the capture of a single man, even when he was indeed as vile as he pictured is worth the price.

Sirs, the Kingdom has largely thrived well enough on its own and many fail to see the need to unify with The Amarr Empire any more than, say, The Caldari State. We have the vantage as it is and have held it for three hundred years. What need have we for looking backwards when the Khanid people of all races, and our blessed King, have always looked to the future?
My cautions aside, one must indeed smile at this moment. A criminal has been captured and justice will be rendered unto him. An Empress clad in the glory of Sarum at its most potent rules in The Empire and extends the hand of friendship to our most noble King Khanid II. King Khanid The Unbowed.
Friendship is to be cherished and our combined might would be truly formidable. However I do not think too many of my fellows, those called Cyber Knights, would accept a reunification on less than equal footing with True Amarr. Not after 300 years of keeping ourselves secure. We have paid in blood to keep The Kingdom and fend off the blows of pirate and ultra unionist alike. The King knows our hearts as if they were his own.
Should there be a homecoming it will be a victorious one. I can speak from experience, of late, in Tash-Murkon that there are more reasonable Amarrians in The Empire than past experience had led me to believe. Should they extend a shield-mate's hand, perhaps, it may be accepted.
Whatever The King decides he will decide wisely, blessings be upon him, and we will follow. A question remains. Which would be which will change more in the wake of unification? The Kingdom or The Empire?

I am interested in where it says that the reunification of Khanid and Amarr is a needful thing. All things happen with the Empire as dictated by the Ultimate Authority, and perhaps the Empire needs an ally more than a vassal in these times. Certainly the role of Khanid in bringing the State closer to the Empire is a good thing, and so is the Kingdom's ability to act on its own volition in matters such as these.
If this had been conducted by Amarrian forces, there existed a much greater chance for it to have been predicted by the Raiders and the traitor would have been moved to a more remote area.
Our Empress has looked favorably upon the Kingdom for its actions, and I see no reason for Her servants to think or act otherwise. We are here, after all, to serve God and build New Eden according to His declarations.
