the correct answers to those questions would be:
never, never, never, yes, never
if I coul find out how to put the (tm) mark in tekst I would have replaced never with soon.

They fix and then introduce new items and coding for the new items.
from my understanding, the systems for testing and traquility are two different entities.
might work in testing but when introducing new stuff it becomes buggy. With any reprogramming or introducing of new software .........your going to get bugs.
Nature of the programming beast of a constant work in progress.
With the level and depth they plan on taking eve and the mods and tech levels and new ships.......it will be a work in progress for the next 3 years.
Which way do you want it.......fixed and no bugs and no new stuff ever?
or bugs and new stuff and constant game growth?
You simply can't have both.

Well, I just asked in a polite manner to get some official statement from a GM in help channel.
I guess he was too busy answering other questions to give me an answer why this game, that must have been out of BETA for a year now, is still crashing, unstable and pinning hundrets of players.
The funny part was that we have more and more "Nannys" who tell ppl like me asking somesuch to sh*t up because the game is "supposed to be buggy", as it is an "eternal beta".
Thanks for clearing that up Mr. Marka Ragnos.
I guess I m just driving from the wrong point of view here.

Well... When they fix one problem they just make two new ones... I am tired of being thrown of the server on "node Crashes".. when the server actually works there are made patches so it wont work

Sadly I'm also affected by this bug atm. I used to be an avid player back when the game first left beta, but be constant bugs and lack of promised content made me look else where. So I have been playing fanal fatasy 11 for the last 7 months. Now there is a software house that knows how to fix bugs, sure when new items and content are added there are sometimes a few bugs but they are fixed in a matter of hours. Plus theres significant new content added every major update (tends to be each month).
So I recently decided to come back to eve to see how things have progressed only to find that apart from some items and deep core mining etc there hasnt been much progress made. Now dont get me wrong I love eve and the very idea of this game, I would rather play a space based mmorgp than any other kind but surely the devs by now could admit that their current testing process just doesnt work and needs to be looked at.
All I ever want for this game is for it to be a success and not go the way of the likes of E&B, while I commend the efforts of the devs and the gms I do think they is still room to improve, and what with upcoming games like WoW or Matrix online the last thing Eve needs now is another thing to put people off playing. Tonight has certainly been a bad one... I really can't see myself paying for buggy software. Although I have to say that it was fine all during today and its only the last hour that its collapsed, plus last night and the night before... seems to me it happens when the load is high on the servers and nodes, something they can't test I guess. Still sucks major tho

One thing to add
The GM finally answered and mentioned that this was the first crises in a week or so.
Didnt play this much the past few days, but got to give him that he may be quite right.
Thus I have started a thread here where I will try to keep track of when the server actually gave trouble.
Feel free to help me update it http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=95459
