How suicude-gangkadelic would I be if I was using a 850m ship with 2 mods worth 110m p/u and 4 mods worth 35m p/u in a mission hub?
I know the ship value is'n really gonnw show up on the gankers paycheck but I doon how they think, maybe it's like "zomg expensvie ship lets kill it just 'cause of that" .
obvious reason to altpost is obvious |

Edited by: Merin Ryskin on 23/12/2008 11:42:13 Not at all. 850m means a faction battleship or marauder, and there's no way to suicide one and make a profit with just those mods. Assume 50% module drop, that's only 180 mil. Anything that could get the kill before CONCORD arrives would eat too much of that 180 mil to justify the sec hit, so any smart suicide ganker would spend their effort on a more profitable target.
Of course if they just want to kill you out of spite, you're dead, any ship in the game can be suicided if you don't care about making a profit. -----------

Not if you want to risk forever ****ing off Chribba (and probably being denied EVE-files use), being disliked by CCP, and being on practically everyone else's KOS list... -

Edited by: BiggestT on 23/12/2008 15:28:04 If the veldnought popped, thered be news stories, threadnoughts and much lementing from carebears every where. Imagine being in the pilots seat when the ship pops and u come out in a pod... Youd feel like smashing your PC! EVE history

Saying from past experience, if you have the right skills, a small 5 man TI cruiser and TI fit will pull of a hulk kill in 0.5 even though all cruisers will perish, its worth it. About 30mill loss and a kill worth probably 150mill (plus its hilarious). Have an alt ready to loot any drops (industrials). We did this with 5 -10 status peeps. Great fun!!
