everyday the guy who's running ebank scam pretends to be a concerned customer on one of his accounts and makes a post asking some question about ebank and then uses his other account to post an answer filled with fancy terminology straight out of finance 101 class to lure little newbies into earning the 'ebank' trust.
if anyone read 'the great scam' by nightfreeze they would immediately recognize it. i recommend everyone to read it.

MD newbies or flaming trolls, doesn't really matter, both a plague.
IF EBank was running a scam (and the general consensus is, they aren't), any money they would earn from it would be more than well-deserved.

Hm, his first post in 10+ months. My alt-o-meter is peaking out.
As he was ten months ago, he is still confused as to the meaning of 'slander' vs 'information'.

Board of Director from EBANK is now in the thread.
If someone posts a question to EBANK within this thread, I will be more then happy to answer it.
To the OP, this is the only recognition I'll give about your comments. If you or anyone else have concerns about EBANK, you're more then welcome to withdraw your ISK at any time. The address is http://www.EVE-Bank.net. If you do not have an EBANK account, and are mealy making a statement without any information or experience then I wish you a good day.

As a non-cunstomer in EBank I wish you a good day as well. But please allow me to add Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for good measure.
As for the OP... success breeds contempt and detractors doesn't it?

Ive been trying to tell people. They say they invest in EBank because they have honor and a reputation. EBank is a pirate corp just like any other only with a friendly face. Theyre scammers just like everyone else. Its my mission in life to bring EBank down in a hurling ball of WTF

Sadly, no it doesn't. A) It's made-up; the scam it describes never got beyond the planning phases, as both people involved quit EVE before implementing it. B) Even if it were real it's only a failed IPO for less than a billion, which is so unextraordinary as to not even merit a story. C) Ebank isn't run by a single person you nitwit. Get out.

If EBANK wanted more money they'd just allow new 3% savings accounts and get a few hundred billion more overnight. Considering they haven't done that, why would they go to such elaborate lengths to get a few billion more?
The simple answer is they wouldn't. The slightly longer answer is your stupid thread has been reported and will hopefully get you a permanent ban this time.

Cause of course 1.5 trillion isn't enough to run off with. Obviously they're waiting for them to have 3 trillion mark. Cause that's well alot and there was this story once about a bank or something and well all banks scam. Didn't you hear?

If the point of this story is to expose the whole IPO/eBank/investment aspect of the game, why the hell did it take him 5 pages to get to the point?
CLEARLY it was someone just having fun writing a mildly entertaining story about nothing :P And yes... I'm a sad little man for having read the whole thing >_<

I'll go out on a limb and say that e-bank is a scam.
But I will qualify this statment by saying that it's a scam because you could get much better returns on your isk setting up an alt in Jita (or any hub) and doing day trading.
Hang on that's not a scam, e-bank is a risk mitigation strategy - poor return for 'low' risk.
p.s. I don't have an e-bank account but I do have a station trading alt.

If the BoD allowed it, I bet you that 3 trillion would be quite likely to reach very soon if the 3% account was made public again.
But I have to remind everybody that the BoD entirely has the final say on when we stop taking deposits. If we reach our limit, we will not take in more deposits. While some people might still deposit if they didn't notice, it will mean we can migrate risk by lowering exposure towards ourselves if we find that there's a risk associated with having the ISK.
Mind you, people like myself serves the BoD, who is here to represent the interest of the customer while still considering the health of the bank. We always try to limit anybody's exposure at all time. Nobody will EVER have access to 3 trillion, leave alone 1,5 in cash

Seemingly not very well so far.
But to be fair on him, he doesn't realize that some members of EBANK actually are pirates. However, our corp(VETO) does NOT condone scamming. If EBANK did scam, we would both get kicked out by Verone.

I dunno about Ebank mechanics, board of managment or the like, and I don't think they're running a scam as it is, but a good and honest business.
But if they, at the end of their eve-term, want to leave an impression that's talked about years after the closure of Ebank, it's not achieved by dissolving the business but by stealing every last isk and cent they can.
And I for one, wouldn't blame them for it. It would be well deserved.

2) for someone who knows so much about the story you sure fail to grasp the timeline
3) maybe, maybe not. after all, there were two scammers in 'the great scam'

You idiot. Just because you wouldn't be able to resist 1.5 trillion ISK doesn't mean that everyone else is just as small-minded as yourself. What's far more valuable to LVV and Ricdic is the respect and admiration of the player community. Sums of money like 1.5 trillion are so huge as to be completely worthless in comparison.

Easy there, Easy. :)
I think Mohram's post was to be taken with a good portion to "Irony 2000". At least if you read it in a ironic context, it seems ok. --------

I fail to see why you keep calling this "the great scam"
a) It wasn't even 1 billion they ran off with... what with their "fake" investors to seed the pool, they only ended up actually running off with.. what like 600 million? Chump change to the majority of big time EVE players.
b) If this story is real, and if this nightfreeze character actually did what he did, the guy sounds like a huge douchebag to me. Douchebags are not usually the most credible source when seeking testimony about something they engaged in - cuz they're also usually pompous asses that will embellish and elaborate. The guy obviously enjoys the descriptive.
c) Note that LaVista Vista - a member of the eBank staff - is a member of the CSM. This means that his real information has been released to the whole wide EVE community. Which also confirms that he's a real person. You really think someone crafting this master plan to steal all this money from this many players is gonna put himself out there like that?
*sighs* I love how people fail to use that mass of tissue in their head between their ears before taking their digits to the keyboards.
