Hey all,
For a long while I tried the pvp game, but it just always wound up frustrating me. So, back to highsec I went, and became a mission runner. I enjoy that, but more and more lately I find myself drawn towards the industry side of the game.
So - I'm looking for a strictly highsec corporation, with a focus on mining and industry. A majority of my SP are currently combat related, but I'm training up my growing industrialist side :)
Mainly, I'm just looking for a small-to-medium sized corp - reasonably active, reasonably intelligent, reasonably fun to chat with while I turn big rocks into little rocks.
Personally - I'm a 29 year old grad student, with high playtime in the AUS timezones.

Gun Metal Priests might be a fun place for you. We are a mining / mission running corp based out of Amarr space. We have several experienced industrialists in corp that can help you with questions or projects. We're a bunch of casual players that are in it so that everyone can have fun playing the game. Duke - I notice from your thread that you're aiming at heading out to 0.0 eventually. I wish you all the luck in it, but I've done that to death and am not really looking to sign on for it in my future again. Cheers anyhow :)

Update:
I appreciate the evemails and posts I've recieved so far. Some of them have taught me I need to be more clear in what I'm looking for, though. :)
Mainly, I'd like a corp that's reasonably active in the Australian evening timeframes, that has no intentions of a corp move to 0.0.
Regular industrial operations towards a bigger goal are a big plus, but not a requirement. Intelligent leadership/membership are a HUGE plus :)

You haven't been with the right outfits  .
0.0 presents many a shortcut to the intrepid industrialist out there and its always nice having a bunch of savages looking over your shoulder ensuring that the griefers get griefed.
You know what we do, or you did at least.
Since then we've gotten a little bigger and a little better.

Souv,
FDN is a great organization - and if I were to decide to go back to the 0.0 life, that would be the only group I'd want to do it with.
But I've really learned - I'm a complete carebear at heart. I think the Empire life is best for me at this point. :)

Well, I don't know if we are exactly what you are looking for but I will give it a try anyways.
We don't operate in Low Sec nor do we plan on operating in low sec.
We also don't plan on moving the Corp to 0.0, though we do try to get access there so we have a bit broader option for Corp members.

Hello Lui,
I like that you followed up with additional information. I also like that you are being careful to find the best match. We are a purely high-sec, purely industrial corporation that is growing quickly. We have some awesome leadership, including directors that average several years of active Eve playing. You will like our chats as they are active and intellectual (even the frequent jokes and jabs are sophisticated). We have lots of university students so that matches reasonably. I must admit, we are not AU TZ, but we have some Hawaii players, lots of EU folk, and two insomniacs (no joke) that are on all sorts of hours.
