Noob question. Is it possible to see the absolute security status of your character ? Not only the rough aprox. that you can see in your character sheet. ------ In a time when life has no value, death sometime has its price. ------ |

Yes it is, if you are CEO or director of your corp, right click on your name and "Edit" this will show your absolute sec status!
If your not CEO or Director, ask someone who is, to tell you what it is!

I must be doing something wrong. If I right click the name in the corp channel I only get the options "Show info" and "Capture portrait". The first one brings up my character sheet. I guess it is not possible to do this if you are a freelancer. ------ In a time when life has no value, death sometime has its price. ------ |

Hanns, nice to know Biomass is still out there. I'd wondered where you guys disappeared to.
I keep a teddy bear in my pod with me. A teddy bear with sharp teeth, massive claws, and a pinache for eating the flesh of podded corpses. I call him "Fuzzy". |

Doesn't work in a newbie corp. ( or newbie and freelancer corp, know people that would take offence at me calling it a newbie corp ;) ) ~{When evil and strange get together anything is possible}~ A tool is only useless when you don't know how to use it. - ActiveX The grass is always greener on the other side. - JoCool |

if you are in a starter corp, you can see a slightly more accurate version of your security status by looking at standings tab in character sheet, and look for the concord standing. it will have one extra decimal place of accuracy. the concord rating is the same as sec status.
note: some folks have the character sec number different than the concord number which is a display bug- you can confirm the actual sec status the game thinks you have by having another player or alt do info on you and double check the number.

If that doesn't work you can dock at a Concord owned station and try to refine something, it will say "we hold you at .0071231394324 standing" or somthing like that. Before I was a director I would stop at the local concord owned station and look there.
