Hello,
I am a noob.
I am looking for some low sec.
I would like it to have high sec around it.
So its like two 0.4 systems with high sec ALL around.
Is there a way to find these type systems on the map ?

For this kinda thing, ombey's maps tend to be better than the in game map

Alachene (0.3) is a good low sec pocket.
There used to be a large defense force there, but I think most of those people have moved on. Decent rats, ice, 0.5 sec belt roids.

You're telling me that you can find, in less than a minute, using the in-game map, a pair of lowsec systems with all gates except the two joining said systems leading to high sec space? Bull****

Learn to use the freakin map. It has options in it you know.. options that make searching for stuff easier.

I am new to the game sorry, I cant see any filters that help me do this ? Maybe instead of been a smartarse you should help ?

The ingame map is pretty amazing if you stop and spend some time with it. I'm new here also and i think its one of the best maps of any game i've played.

The "color stars by" is an impressive tool, the only bad thing about it its that you cannot select multiple stuff (like having security status combined with pilots in the last hour, etc).
Check all the options there, it really helps. You can find cozy places with the "pilots in the last xx", traffic advisories and so forth...

For a 'New Citizens' topic, this certainly wasn't oriented toward that end. It took until about the 11th or so post to see a decent response.
It seems to me, as far as contributing to the forum is concerned, that simple, informative replies to these types of questions (especially under the context of 'noob help') would be far more effective and efficient than 'open your eyes' as 'new citizens' would not have the luxury of experience with the UI or the universe as one might have after a few months or even years.
In this case, the first reply should have been 'open your map browser and select the various options available in order to discover that which is sought'. Would that have been so difficult? Indeed, you most likely would have appeared to be less an ass and the thread could have been settled within 3 or 4 posts rather than going from a legit question to a noob-defense festival.
