Maiden Hananiah	Posted - 2004.07.21 17:15:00 - [1] This is an official broadcast to all you Carebears who execute jettisoned cargo container mining operations in 0.8 to 1.0 space. I've decided to train up the new skill of Ore Thievery to level 5. Yes, you hear that correct, level 5!!! This will take about 17 days since the skill is a 3X multiplier skill, but I'm ready and willing to take on the commitment. That means for all you miners who are jettison-can-mining in 0.8 through 1.0 systems with battleships are being given a new opportunity to test your skills and ask the unanswered question of "Can I mine more than she can steal from me?" Don't hate me or what I do. This was predestined to happen. It was meant to be. Just accept it and live your life just as I have done. I've held my right hand up to the gods and have taken a solemn vow by swearing to uphold what they have established - ore thievery. Jettisoned cargo containers were never meant to be used for mining and there is absolutely nothing you can do to stop me. Yell and scream at me in Local, send me hate mails, and threaten me all you want. You will be the ultimate loser who will shed tears and cry to Concord, CCP, and to the gods for letting this occur. My promise to you are: I promise to take your ore I promise to reduce your mining productivity I promise to laugh at your efforts to stop me I promise to walk away as a much richer woman Love me or hate me, either way, your ore will be mine. I appreciate your hard effort in this endeavor and want to send out a THANK YOU in advance.

Please make sure she doesn't get bored to death with her no risk, concord protected career. This would be horrible, and WILL happen if the current situation is left unresolved. I am speaking about the no risk aspect of ore thievery. Come on CCP, help these ore thieves not be bored to death, make it a crime that they can be shot for. It is a viable economic route to make ISK and live a prosperous live in Eve. Whether ppl like it or not, ore theivery is here to stay and with Shiva rolling out soon, the ranks amoung us will multiply. I'd love to see an organized group of ppl or maybe a corp who specialize in ore thievery to to begin strategic operations all over Eve.

So what if people steal ore, if your bothered use a secure can, if you want more profit in less time and enjoy the risk use a jettisoned can. Its no more unfair than when you go through a 0.0 bottleneck and get hit by 8 ships at once, its life!! You choose to go through the 0.0 bottleneck and know the risks. Same way as miners know the risks jettisoning cans. The way people go on, we should take away NPCs,pirates, ore theifs etc.. so you can just mine in peace all day long. Pay me ú10 a month and I'll code you a mining sim, with no risk, no fun, just mining. I suspect you won't be playing much after the first month. Its about time that people realised that a game being difficult and diverse is what makes it a challenge. Take that away, you take away the game. I agree, its annoying when you lose your ship, your ore etc.. but without it, EVE would be more boring than mining, almost...
