This might be a stupid question, but uhm..........
Why is it that the most basic ship you could fly ( besides a shuttle of course ) has a skill with a 2x training time multiplier?

Because a Crusier has x5 multiplier and it would be a huge jump from x1 -> x5 if Frigates were x1 multiplier.
....Come to think of it, with the new Destroyer/BC change, the Destroyer also has x2 multiplier, which doesn't really make a lot of sense. Maybe they should change Frigate to x1 and Destroyer to x3 so that we have
x1 -> x3 -> x5 -> x6 -> x8
like other respective skills in Gunnery? |

Exactly what i was thinking, although i thought destroyer should stay at 2x.
Frigate 1x
industrial 1.5x maybe 2x
destroyer 2x
cruiser 3x
battlecruiser 4x
battleship 5x

I'm getting the impression from talking with many new players that they arent "paced" to play eve.
When someone tells me that "holy **** this will take 7 days to train" i'll be "tsch, only 7 days, thats nothing".
x5 for battleships is just too low compared to the bonus's they give, if anything battleships should go up a rank or two to compensate for the Crucible changes to ship progression. |
