its pretty anoying to have the scanner show things that happend 3 jumps ago..... that combined with the local channel showing 41 people when you are solo in a system only brings grief....
jumped in a system recently... showed a ****load of concord, bunch of heavy and light missiles... i freaked out since i was the only one in the system.. mwd'ed far out and docked... switched to a shuttle to investigate, jumped back and nothing....
this i dont need

I think the standard fix for scanner problems is dock, repackage your ship, assemble and then should be ok

Imagine if you will that your ship in eve is your car, & your scanner/local chat is your windscreen.
your windscreen gets chipped by a stone (local/scanner bugged), would you replace the windscreen or take your car to a garage so they can strip it down & do a complete wheels up rebuild?
Repackaging ships & refitting gear to make it work properly is a naff workaround. local especially IMO needs to be sorted, but hopefully its on the growing list of 'things to do' for the devs etc
