Hi everyone, There seems to be a huge lack of auditing when it comes to corporations. My current corporation is very worried about security before we open up recruitment to people other than our friends and we've heard many times before that even the tightest of security makes it too hard to keep everything in check. We wanted to create a space where our members could take what they needed but we could monitor who took what. Could you please add a 'Audit Log' to see who accesses our hangers.
The current Audit containers do not work at all. We tried using them in the hopes they would be what we required. They do not audit items taken or placed into the can or their quantities they only log access which doesn't help at all.
EVE corporation management need a lot of work. The current interface works but it's very lumpy to use and sometimes doesn't have all the features I think that other games provide.
Thank-you, Avalon.

Logs logs logs... how may I count the ways I love thee!
Yes.... we need better logging and tracking for anything and everything involving any kind of ship, item, object.
If it moves.. log the sucker.
I'm in favor of such a thing. =============== CEO of Clan Shadow Cadre www.shadowcadre.com =============== |

It's nice to see my idea got a little support but to be honest this should of been implemented many months ago. The only issue is that it would take up a lot of storage space.
Perhaps the logs would only be accessible for 28 days or if they implement it perhaps make it costs extra ISK. I could be greedy and ask for a complete redesign of the corporate hangers too but that's just mean.
Does anyone else have any ideas on how a better corporate management system could be implemented?

I agree that there needs to be better logging of item movements. The only downfall is, like mentioned above, is the server space needed to store it for every corporation. A 7-10 day log should be suffice for most instances of needing to retrieve information. After all, if someone does loot your assets hopefully you would notice before the 7-10 day window. ------------------------------------

Very true, and perhaps only enable it for Corporations with greater than 10 members and older than 30 days?
A bonus for being an active corporation would be increased security.
