So..after logging in after traipsing around all over...

So a corpie pipes up in corp..asks if someone has a BS handy to kill some rats...the random guy in local is a buddy of his...So, I tank up for the mission, and wander in. There's five..count'em...five battleships from the same corp. And a newbie in a catalyst. There's one guy there tanking the world. The rest of them are sitting...idling.
Apparently they've been sitting..idle..waiting for the ninja salvager to leave..for at least fifteen minutes.
So..I start taking the rats out. They all warp off..and the mission comes in and starts to beat on me..flip the tank on.. And keep killing..Go after the battleships and pop almost all of them when *poof* the mission disapears.

Huh? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? Did this bozo actually get his mission reset? And I get reported for..what? Not really worried. But since when do GM's reset missions because someone interrupted them?
But I think that's my first petition...woo! Wonder if I'm going to get more...how much more angry can I make the bear population. Mwuahahahahaha.

I grant that the English, sentence structure, syntax, and grammar are all horrid, so it could be taken as he got a GM to reset it.
I took it as:
"I've abandoned the mission. That resets the deadspace to nothing and you're out of luck. Also, I've reported you to a GM. Aren't I amazing?"

I'm guessing the mission despawns instantly if you cancel it at your agent? With how long CCP takes to respond to a petition that is not a stuck petition, I highly doubt the claims of the idiot carebear.
For some reason I have a soft spot for ninja salvager stories and always read them, even if no epic kills are involved.

A GM has reset a mission for me previously when I was in my first couple months of the game fairly quick response around 20 mins or so.

I filed the report as Stuck as I couldn't complete the mission and failing it would have pushed my standing below taking any further missions with that corp. |

These threads are just really sad. For the OP that is. I mean, by all means if this rocks your boat and makes you happy, pay your $15 and do it. Even though the mission runner didn't have the right attitude, your attitude is just as bad (I'd dare say worse) than the mission runners. Is this just a sad attempt for some attention? It seems the average age of players in Eve keeps degrading every month.

We have a Blog, and have had for while now. It hasn't been updated in a while, but hey, I haven't seen any comments on it yet.
As for the GM resetting the Mission, I'm looking into that one personally. Yet another example of when Mission Runners get preferential treatment over us, less respected individuals.
BTW, Nexus - I'd appreciate it if you could have that journal removed... It's got Metas and advertising all over it, and I'd prefer it if anyone thought it had anything to do with our Corp. (Think in a 'RL' way, if you could.)

Disruptingg missions is perfectly legal, so the petition i think is worth S.hit all.
I really dont think the Mission runner got his mission reset.
The only mission related petition, if you steal the ending item or blow it up, then i think they can petition it. (I THINK)

I'm not really seeking attention. I am seeking entertainment. I hope folks read what I write, and get a good laugh out of it. And maybe I get some emo-rage from the subject. (I doubt it..the percentage of folks who play and don't know the forums are here is rather...insanely high)
(Well, okay. I'll admit it..the attention, adulation, free bj's, occasional isk donation, and vague forum fame is a side bonus. So maybe I am looking for some attention.)

Don't worry about that fraggin idiot. I don't know how many missioners I've ****ed off who have Devs that are friends, or family, or occasionally has relations with their family pets, yadda yadda...
What happened was the but hurt guy canceled the mission and lost standing, and tried to save face by pretending it had some legitimacy with the guys upstairs. Bluff, easily called. better yet, Call the Whaaaaaaambulance, this carebear needs a ride
