Mat Phoenix	Posted - 2009.01.02 17:31:00 - [1] If my buddy decides to continue in Eve and fund his account with an in-game PLEX, does that still count for me to get credit for the referral? (30 days play) The closest reference I found was in the T&C for the Buddy prgoram where it says "Eligible subscription activations can be funded by any payment method". Sounds promising, but I thought it worth confirming.

It should be noted that the timecard you buy is 60 days, and I think when you convert it, it turns into 30 days. So might not be much of a savings :/ But im not totally sure tbh as I have never bought one.

(Note the lack of period at the end of the current text: every other term is written as a full sentance ending in a period. Looks like they missed a line when copying the text, and unforunately it is a rather significant difference.) You will simply need to wait for a GM to look at the issue and manually credit the time: if they are willing to honor the mistaken text.

I invited my brother who upgraded with a plex, The buddy system thingy on the main page claims that I have been given 30 days yet my account doesn't show these 30 days, so on one hand theres the buddy thing saying I'm 30 more days in credit yet my account doesn't, HAve asked about this and will wait to see what the reply is.

Usually - ISD Thanks I might also point out that I didn't buy a plex from the market, I bought an ETC and converted it myself into two 30 day PLEX's then traded one to my Bro, The fact that the buddy system on the main page shows that I'm supposed to have another 30 days, leads me to believe that it may just be taking a while for it to show on my account or possibly that when my current 30 days from upgrading my account from trial to full runs out then the extra days will start although there is nothing to suggest this, theres simply something saying I only have 25 days left to play. I wouldn't like to think I was misinformed by someone in a position of authority, I'll let you all know what happens, It's quite a worry when theres not much in the way of information about this. but experiences of similar things in other online games lead me to believe that its all fine and just a lack of info causing confusion for people Far better to have a stout heart and suffer your share of evils, than to always be fearing what may happen

A while back I took out a buddy account to start a second account, which I funded with GTC (this was before plex). I got the advertised time on my trial and 30 days extra on my main account for the privilege. So it certainly used to work using GTC. However plex's are a new factor, and I can't speak for them. Ingame: Channels&Mailing lists>Channels>Join>PVE>OK
Yaba Sa	Posted - 2009.01.07 22:08:00 - [13] Just had my 30 days added to my account for the buddy invite, seems it was just a delay, and it seems that plex's are valid, as long as the buddy you invite upgrades from a trial to full account then you get your days, now I bought a ETC and converted it myself, but I'm sure if you can afford to buy a plex in game then this will work too. A simple petition sorted it all out "Far better to have a stout heart and suffer your share of evils, than to always be fearing what may happen"
