Re-insure a ships should be cheaper then last time.
Should lower 50% for every new contract.
This will stop the silly waste of ships to claim insurances every 12 weeks.
Like insurances in R/L.

I like it..But where would the half-life of the inurance end? For example, one could imagine the 50% decrease to get to a point where u are dishing out MAYBE 1000 isk for bship insurance...I think there should be a absolute minimum to what u have to pay.

Edited by: DoZ3r on 23/07/2004 08:08:34 No it would end at a base lvl.
Some thing like 2/5th's of the original insurance cost and stay at this lvl untill you lost the ship.

How about a no claims bonus, for each period of insurance where no claim is made, the next period should get you a discount, likewise someone that makes a claim very often should suffer premium rates.

basicaly no claims bonus....
50% would be too much, maybe 10%-15% for each time. deffoa good idea tho, us safe drivers should be rewarded!!! maybe an entire insurance corp could emerge to do it all properly. no doubt n00bs would be charged over the odds, and any mods (alloy guns/bucket seat/NOS) would drive up their premiums. as you go thru live in eve all your ship losses get tallied and they determine if it was your fault or not (attacked concord/got ganked) so it would all work out.
