And so here is the answer to the situation in my bathroom that transpired less than a moon ago.
Indeed, a talking bird, one with an orange crest, white wings and a plume of blue around its collar, started to squawk wildly from an unknown location. I was in my office and heard it. Investigation found the bird in te bathroom, upon the sill near the window. Its chirps were loud, its crest high. Wings were beating, but never flying. I thought to grab it and box it, but then...it may be wild, may be vicious. It may hurt me. And then it took a sh** on my toothbrush. The chirpy words from its bill seemed basic to me, it said 'Parrot, Parrot'
So I come down to the office, grab a box and wrestle the thing inside. I stab holes in it (the box) and then wait. I ask a few neighbours if they have lost a bird, but to no avarium...avail! sorry 
RSPCA have collected it. Now I need a new toothbrush

A few guesses...
You have a dog and/or puppies and they destroyed your bathroom because you locked them in there over christmas/new years break...
Your child decided to flush as many things as she/he could down the toilet, including your cat.
Your child has his/her hand stuck inside the plumbing of the toilet...and you had to call 911 to help you out.
Toilet/sink/tub backed up...bad ju ju...
