so i sold my 13 mil gallente pvp toon and brought a 27 mil minmatar pvp toon
i cld solo a battleships in my astarte which is what i flew for pvp
can i do tht in a sleipnir?
also what other ships do minmatar have good for pvp without all this nano stuff?
and yes i should of checked b4 i sold my toon but meh if u here to cry about it screw you :P

Both sleip and claymore are great for PVP.
If you dont want nano then the Muninn is ok, not great, but it is good in some sitations.(sniping, makes an ok autocannon boat)
Huginn/Rapier are both good, as webs and TP's are now really needed, however they arent the best for solo, although if you choose your targets wisely you can do good.
Rupture/Stabber are both still great at PvP, if you dont want to nano you can plate the stabber and it still works good.
Wolf/Jag are AWESOME now, love em.
Rifter is, of course, awesome.
If you want to go BS then it depends on what you want to do.
Typhoon is good if you have the skills for it (torp/cruise and projectiles trained up as well as armor skills)
Tempest, I like it, the looks and slot layout. However, there are some problems with it. Great sniper, and is a bunch of fun to fly with autocannons. Good for RR gangs as you can fit 2 large RR without sacrificing DPS.
Mealstrom is great in gangs, and can do passably solo as well. Great shield tank, great low sec boat.

It is not advisable to solo commandships because they are very expensive and for the most part very few people solo anymore so ull have a harder time surviving. They are meant for gangs because of their bonuses.
Minmatar CSes are particularly not recomended to go solo mainly because the shield tank kills most tackling slots, and if u add tackle egar ur killing your tank. Its not impossible to solo its just not recommended.
I am minmatar spec only and i find these to be my favorite:
Rifter = IMO the best t1 frigate ingame, very awesome for super cheap tackling.
Rupture = Plate it up and it can take a beating, great pvp cruiser.
Hurricane = Bigger rupture, which is simply a monster if fit correctly. You can do sniper set ups or ACs either way ull love this ship.
Typhoon = If you have t2 drones/armor/cruise or torps this ship can dish out sick damage.
Maelstrom = 800mm ACs will shred people and it has a ridiculous tank.
Stilletto = lots of midslots for awesome tackling.
Jaguar = Great dps/tank for a lil monster.
Wolf = put in some artillery and watch frigs insta pop.
Muninn = people will sya this ship sucks but in a gang itl usually top the dps chart, set it up w 720mm arts.
Vagabond = Speed demon and allows you to get away from fights you know you cant win.
Broadsword = Like all HICs they can tank like hell and ofc fun for bait.
Rapier = Great ship to pick your fights or get those opurtunistic kills.
Sleipnir = my fav ship ingame, great dps/tank and more agile than a BS so its the best of both worlds for me. I only use it in gangs though.
Claymore = dps of a schoolgirl but an amazing tank, ofc this is a gang only ship since poeple will love you for the gang bonuses.
