Do the drone specialization skills affect fighters, such as Amarr drone specialist?

And Advanced Drone Interfacing should be skilled to level 1, so when someone whu board carrier for the first time, could fit one DCU, undock, launch fighters and write "OMG 10 DRONEZz" on corp chat.

Skilling Advanced drone interfacing above 2 (MAX) makes no sense at all, if you need to fit more than 1 DCU that is a fail fit.
A useful skill, and very often forgotten, is Electronic Warfare Drone Interfacing, gives you 3km more control range per level to all drones. Very useful with sentries and those crowded POS shooting situations.. ----

T2 heavies is advisable, same for T2 sentries (they pwn) and yes electronic warfare drone interfacing is the forgotten bastard child that lays golden eggs.

Funny thing being I trained it to level 5 just because I could. Cannot even fly a carrier yet .
The thing is that if and when CCP fixes the it makes no sense to train this skill any further then X problem I will not have to train it then, and on top of that it gave me an easy way to take some time off when I was a little tired of playing EVE and bashed my way through GTA IV... ------------------------------------------- Should you disagree with me, well I guess that is because I disagree with you. If you have a problem with that please feel free not to tell me. |

No. imo, i dont see why you need it past lv 3. I dont fit any DCU's but i cry everytime i see a carrier fit 4 DCU's.
Question about sentry drones, since iv only really started to use them alot, what skills do i need to max out their range? atm I cant use them past 60km or somewhere around there, had a brief look at as far as i can see the direct skills affect damage. So whats for range?

Well, if you have 60km range, then you have Electronic warfare drone interfacing trained, then it's only drone links... :| ----
