I've been thinking of making an eve-mon type application for the Pocket PC/Windows Mobile platform. Before I did this I wanted to make sure there wasn't one already. If there isn't one. What sort of features would you guys want?
Is an app like this even in demand?

I've always wondered why someone with more time than myself didn't just implement a very fully functional web based eve-mon with a little AJAXY-goodness to spiff things up. Then it would work on virtually any platform or device that can pull up http (and you could even have a simple lynx text-y version for the most rudimentary access). Honestly, I'd love a mobile version of Evemon, especially if I could sync it with the one on my computer. I wouldn't really need the ship / item DB, but the skill DB and plans would be useful. Give it notification alerts and I'd be a happy gate-camper! _______________________________________ Pull a lever, push a button, have a banana, die.

While that would be awesome, I am even more awaiting a light version of EVE client for mobile, giving access to basic stuff like research, skillchanges, manufacturing, chatting, trading etc etc. (pretty much anything that doesn't mean actually undocking) ---

There are a few online web based version that can do this already, now a Windows Mobile (or even java based) version of EFT would make me moist, in my pants, a lot.
