Just want some personal opinions on what Amarr Boat does well in LS DEDs, up to 6/10 I suppose would be a good figure.
Basic numbers like tank / dps requirement also being a plus.
Cheers. |

It would be varied.

No. 4, 5, and 6/10 are low sec spawns, though only 5/10 is exclusively low sec.

This really does make a pretty huge difference. It may come down to using different ships for different enemies. |

The Retribution does 4/10 just fine. Haven't tried higher. |

4/10s are pretty easy, and AFs can do them just fine for the most part. BCs also seem to handle them nicely. They aren't the ones to worry about.
5/10s are all built on the same basic model: two easy rooms and then one with stasis towers at range and heavy DPS, but an overseer you can snipe if need be. If you choose to stand your ground in the last room, you either want a very heavy tank (dual LAR-range) or the ability to take down the stasis towers fast and get to range.
6/10s are more varied, and I'm really only familiar with Blood and Sansha. In both cases, the challenge is bringing enough gank at range as they aren't that hard to tank. The range part is important because the overseers slow down repping if you can stay at about 65+km. At that point you can manage with ~400 DPS. If you have to go in close, you'll need at least 600 for Crimson Hand Supply Depot and probably more like 800 for Sansha War Supply Complex.
Legion is going to be your default for running these guys, though you could probably roflstomp the 6/10s with a gank fit BS. Just don't get caught in one.... |

620 EM dps from a single tengu are just about enough to grind away at the overseer in the sansha 6/10, eventually killing him after two reloads outranging doesn't seem to work anymore it seems, the last three times it made no difference if i was at 5km or 110km
i guess somewhere in the 500s would just be about enough for the blood 6/10 overseer BS
If it really has to be an amarr boat, i'd go with a geddon or a legion. DED5s require about the same tank, plus there's some neuting going on in the blood version. Sansha version has no locks on the gate to the final room. |
