Hi,
I was wondering if there are tools available which can scan the entire market in a system/region and export it to a text or Excel file?
Thanks in advance! |

Srry, there is no way. You have to manually export the orders for each and every item. |

I soo wish CCP would make market dumps available on a per-region basis. I'd suggest a skill called "Technical analysis" which allowed from 1-5 dumps of the entire market tree (via the API) per day for the region the trader is in. I guess I'd settle for automatic exporting of the market item you're viewing.
Then we need a proper ticker, providing end-of-day data on all trades and order entries conducted the prior day, on a per-item basis (again via the API.)

I agree! But also if they would create a stockmarket with all public corps. available... I look forward to Ebanks stockmarket project ;) About your suggestion - forget it :(

This would ruin the market and make trading pointless. I know your dreams tell you this information would make you rich, but put this information in the hands of every trader out there and you would hit a point where every item worth trading has a 1.5% margin between buy and sell and therefore useless to trade.
doesn't take long for opportunities to become saturated now and people need to put effort in to research. Take that effort away and think about what would happen.
Also can you imagine how rife Market bots would become if people could feed that amount of data into them? |

You mean like eve-central? I used to update it regularly, but then I quit doing missions. If it's still running (and I assume it is) you can easily use it. Just update it while using it. ____ English doesn't borrow from other languages; it follows other languages down dark alleys, coshes 'em, then rummages in their pockets for loose bits of grammar. |

Automate the market and it'll turn into an "auctioneer" thing like they have in WoW and that just takes away all the fun. --
