I need some advice. I want to play Minmatar Vherokior Bloodline male. My goal is black ops, panther. I realize other races or bloodlines would probably get to black ops ships alot quicker, but this is the one I want to do.
Im not sure how to adjust the additional skill points. Was thinking more to willpower and perception. But, not sure if i should be drifter or mystic class, soldier or special forces.
Any help would be appreciated. I always seem to play Caldari, so wanted to try something completely different this time. :) |

Vheriokor do have low willpower, I guess that's why you want to put +3 in willpower. However, for most Spaceship Command (such as Battleship) and Gunnery skills that will speed up learning only half as much as putting the 3 points in Perception would - notable exceptions of course are T2 ship skills (of which Black Ops is one). Another point to consider is that the jump drive related skills are Int/Per.
What I would do is put +3 in Per and +2 in Int, and pick the Drifters ancestry (for another +2 in Per and Wil). This would allow for fast training of Battleship V, the jump drive related skills, and gunnery/support skills. The downside that the Black Ops skill itself would take longer to train is only minor compared to those advantages.

Yeah that would make sense to do it that way. Im thinking I would be better off doing lvl 3 missions running a Hurricane, then switching into a Typhoon for lvl 4 pve missions and still cross train for the Black Ops skill to use a Panther in fleet ops pvp.

Just incase, you do know the intended role and percieved gimpness vrs cost the Black Ops plays right?
They are due for a buff however, so maybe you'll finish around the time they are good again. |
