Seriously - these people are trying to scam withing EVE, let them. But have them make a real account and generate some money to pay for hardware to handle the lag in Jita.
Asherons' Call had this great feature - Block and Black Account - the second one killed every alt anyone ever made. |

I don't believe trial accounts can make contracts, only subscribers iirc; someone might want to double check and see if that's changed. And you can ignore contracts from certain people, say there's someone you know to be a scammer, just make sure they are on your "ignore contracts from this individual" list and you're good to go.

My problem with that is it violates alt confidentiality in other situations. With detective work and cross referencing it becomes possible to pin down legitimate players alts that should, by all rights, be untraceable.

I dont think CCP will implement a block button on something that cant be made... Trial accounts cant make contracts, so it might be hard to block the contracts they make.

trial accounts also cannot accept private contracts, tehy dont even appear in thier contract page as i found out last week  |

Yeah fat fingered this one too soobn. The issue is people making alt toons and selling junk. They are on paid accounts - or GTC's - and do the games in contracts to scam. With a block, all I or anyone else can do is snag the character that will be thrown away in a few days anyway.
If we can do a block account, we get the chance to snag the actual human being at the keyboard. There is no stopping anyone from scamming, but it his their account, not just a disposable character propped up and trashed a few days later.

While it's been settled that trial accounts can't use contracts at all. I really do love the idea of blocking accounts and not just characters. That would clean up the useless contracts from scammers very nicely. Great Irish.
