An original idea and more fun than the commonly used lottery, I bring you the first ISK Hunt. Instead of depending on the luck of the draw, you make your own luck. The idea is that a secure container will be dropped in a random system (0.5 - 1.0 systems for your safety) and will be set with a password. Participants will secure a place in the competition by paying a 10Mill entry fee. Once all the slots are filled, the password for the secure can will be announced to participants by mailing list, along with 5 clues (See Example Below) to the containers whereabouts. All you then have to do is locate the can before your competitors, and quote the code left inside the can to confirm that you have indeed found it. The first person to find the can, and retrieve the code inside wins the prize fund. Simple as that.
Example of clues for Item located in Amarr:-
1- Im located 9 jumps from Jita
2- Im a very busy system
3- There are 3 stations in this system
4- There are 15 Asteroid Belts in this system
5- I am located in the fifth belt from the bottom
Anyone interested in participating, please post your interest in this thread and send the entry fee to XT BROODYVIPER. As this is the first hunt, I will be limiting the number of Participants to 25. If this venture proves to be successful, then future Hunts will include more slots and bigger prize funds. Most importantly this is about having fun, and winning the ISK is a just bonus.

If it is as you say just for fun.
Then why isn't the prize 250 mil? (25 x 10mil = 250 mil)

For a start mate, plz dont post unless you are interested, troll someone elses thread. Also i have reserved some of the ISK incase participants wanted a 3rd party involved such as Chribba. Simple as that.

Firstly, wrong forum section. :)
That said, I like the format, and will probably incorporate it into future events of my own. My question for you is: roughly what timeframe are you looking at, as that obviously is the biggest limiting factor for an event of this nature. |

Firstly, im selling slots to participate in the hunt, therefore sell orders. Secondly, do you think i should set a date for the hunt BEFORE the slots are sold? Is that what you are referring to? |

I'm not asking you to set a specific date, I'm thinking moreso of a time (1900 EVEtime, whatever). As obviously, the players who are on at the time you send out your clues have an advantage.

Hey , Nice one here, I am interested , but I just have question about it because how do we secure that whtever item being jetcan that doesn't get stole off from others ??like a secure contianer with password ? but then how can we knw the password? |
