The video is made somewhere in the late 90s IIRC.
"Something_or_other by no_idea_who featuring some_chick"
The music is kind of in-between eurodance and pop or maybe house, can't recall right.
I can't remember exactly who was the artist (for the audio track), but it was a reasonably well-known artist at that time.
The "featuring" singer was a really, REALLY tall (caucasian) girl (1.90-2.10 m tall, that is, give or take) and she was the main focus of the video. She had some other "solo" songs in that time period, but not many.
The video was basically this tall girl singing, and for a significant portion of the video she was driving around (in a cab?) in a large city (looked strikingly "Thailandish", if you know what I mean, the city not the girl).
The video probably made some top50s back then, but don't think it was ever #1 or anything close to that.

Yeah, I know, it's not much to go on... but maybe some of you might get a spark of remembrance... title, artist, singer, something.
It's been bugging me for a couple of months now, on and off...

Obviously, any or even most of the above pieces of info suffer from a very bad case of no-recent-refresh, so... ahem... don't take any of them 100% literally 
Well, except the "tall white chick singing and roaming across some city" (at night).

Well, apparently she's just 1.75m tall (the DJ is the "really tall one"), she's better known than him, the song is from 2000 (not late '90s), and it did go to #1 in some charts
Oh well close enough I guess (Bangkok-filmed video) 
Just glad you have a better memory than I do
