Hi all, have taken a break for last few weeks for various reasons, one being racial hatred between the devs and Minmatar  .
The Tempest and 1400mm's are not the ship/guns they were - fact. I tested a bit after patch with a corp mate in his mega (i have higher skills both had 2 damage mods) and he was virtually getting as good hits with 425mm rails as my 1400's at various ranges but obviously he had the better ROF. Since then havn't been on but was thinking to give it another go and train mega. At least then one of the ships may be good at any one time  . It is annoying and kinda ruins it for me to change race of ships cos you can't roleplay in a rpg and when other races ships do it better (with exception of frigs  then you need to change. Now - got that off my chest..
I would just like to ask mega pilots how is it handling in NPC and PvP since recent changes ? How are rails and blasters doing etc ?

I have about 2.5 mill skill points in gunnery but no hybrid skills yet, probably take me about a month to get gallente bs and large hybrid to level 4 like i have large projectile and minnie bs - frustrating to say the least and feels like losing a month but what ya gonna do.....
Probably my luck that they fix the Tempest if i train another

Thanks to all that replied. I am even more confused now than i was before i started this thread . Maybe i will stick it out for the moment and train for an interceptor to have some fun  .
