So im kinda new, but I found a nice quiet little system that was vitually emply till the other day it suddenly always had 1 or 2 guys ALWAYS mining like 24 hours day, both from the same corp, both only a few months old, and both no virtually no standing, or sec status. So 1 how can i be sure they are macro mining? signs? and 2 wtf can I do about it? can I get them banned or something, I think it kinda takes away from the whole gameplay exsperience not to mention ****ing off the legit players.

Suicide ganking them would be satisfying, but I'm not sure if there's a way to report them, especially if for some weird reason they're legit players.

its high sec, cant just attack them without losing standing/sec status. Me and a few corp mates were just talking about the group gank idea, we might do that.have to just make a new character for it.

A good sign is if they do the "warp to belt, mine, warp to station, repeat" cycle like clock work. Then if they aren't answering you in local or on convos they are most likely macros.

Yes, macro mining is an EULA violation. You can petition them and let CCP deal with it.

Going out on a limb and saying that CCP probably monitors their ISK transactions in order to sting the buyers, if they actually do anything at all. |

many a time i have petitioned farmers and i still see them pop up on my friends list, this si not being handled by CCP at all, you have to take it into your own hands, if you wanty to group gank eve mail me ingame

look for these signiatures:
1: do they permaboost?
2: dont use drones vs beltrats?
3: noobcorps
4: stupid names that have NO meaning at all (wtfhazmyname)
5: don't respond to convos
6: dont respond when you bump them all the time?
7: dont go OMGWTFUPWNDMYHULK /emoragequit when you gank them?
if they hit on more then 4 of the above lines they probably are macros and need to be ganked!

Well the 3 ppl in specific im talking about, all pretty much hit those critera. Were gonna send them a warning message telling them to were gonna report them to CCP and suicide gank them in the mean time, appareciate everyones input. |

If you cant bother to respond to someone concerned you are a macro, then you deserve a gank. At some point we have to work together to get rid of macros.

Making a character for high sec ganking to avoid the security penalty is classed as a exploit. FYI. |
