I was sooo close to getting killed :\| Is there no 0.0 sec space where I can go wihout people guarding the gates? _____________________________________________ \o/ I got a siggy... Joshua Calvert	Posted - 2004.07.25 21:01:00 - [7] It's all free if you use dual-mwd, 7 WCS, pack an Apoc full of NPC hunting equipment, get as far into 0.0 space as you can go with a station in it, swap to your NPC hunting outfit, park your ship mid-space, clone-jump back up to Empire and take a frig down for scouting. That's it, really. Works pre and post map change. LEEEEERRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Neutrals are sometimes killed too, depending on the alliance and the location, because not many alliances like having dozens of potentially hostile pilots flying around their space unhindered.

Morikai Acler	Posted - 2004.07.26 04:59:00 - [13] As far as I know Pureblind is still considered free space too. As long as you're not affiliated with Phoenix Alliance, or are a pirate you shouldn't have much trouble there. Just watch out for the occasional rogue pirate corp is all.

You could take on the 0.1 rats in a caracal, IF you know how to handle yourself in one. Seeing as heavy missiles have a limited range, use your transversal speed to your favour (dont head straight for or straight away from rats). But the elite frig NPC's might be hard on you when you can't field many drones. The rats in 0.0 are too much for a caracal, unless you've got a ***** pilot flying one, and even he would be hard pressed to get away when a heavy BS+frig spawn hits upclose. I have been doing lvl3 mission for quite a time now and yesterday I was trying to hunt rats in 0.2 (pretty easy so far) and then a pirat tryed to kill me in that minmitar frig(cant remember the name atm but its the best lvl3 one) but I won \o/ It was my first pvp ever and I webbed him and shoot 5 heavies on him and won :D ok I am showing of but but i just wonder if this counts? _____________________________________________ \o/ I got a siggy... Rod Blaine	Posted - 2004.07.26 08:58:00 - [41] Well, Assuming you're going for a lvl 1 BS I'd advise the domi if you want to mine too. It's decent for NPCing and very good for mining. If your drone skills are any good you'd be set. On the other hand, Caldari BS have things going for them too. I myself can also fly both races, I own a Megathron for NPCing, a Dominix in empire for backup and mining (so I can never lose everything I have), and am just about to build me a new Raven for NPC and probably some PvP. For NPCing the Mega and Raven stand out as good hunters for high end rats (they do large amounts of damage), the domi and scorp are both decent too. For mining, it's mega and domi, for pvp it's scorp and raven mainly. You need to decide what you want most. All 4 ships are pretty close now, so it's hard to decide which to start with. I have been doing lvl3 mission for quite a time now and yesterday I was trying to hunt rats in 0.2 (pretty easy so far) and then a pirat tryed to kill me in that minmitar frig(cant remember the name atm but its the best lvl3 one) but I won \o/ It was my first pvp ever and I webbed him and shoot 5 heavies on him and won :D ok I am showing of but but i just wonder if this counts? i guess that was me i blame the webifiers good job lol that was fun I was realy shaky when i saw you coming. I'm in and out of 0.0 and empire loads, and more often than not there is no-one camping the gates, and if they are you are well out of there by the time a BS can lock a frig... its not an easy thing to track someone through systems unless there are a lot of you using TS, especially if they aremoving fast. Ill.

By the sounds of it, your not part of an experienced 0.0 corp. Give me an Eve-mail or conv me later, I'll be happy to show you a few tricks and tips to survive 0.0.
