At Hull Upgrades V a Rapier with 2xT2 nanofibers has 1336 armor, which is one point short of leet.
This injustice has to end NOW, I say. |

A T1 50mm armor plate and a single Astronautic rig with the skill at level 2 will grant you that 1337 armor HP.

Alright, I guess everything is fine then, apart from the lowslots not being leet at all, but hey, I can settle for that.

We know, we know, but this thread is about the great injustice that is the rapier.
I know giving the rapier 0.8 more base armor is on the verge of making it overpowered and would probably break the database, and we dont want that, but I'm actually willing to risk it.

Hmmm actually...
I checked EFT (oh noes, i know! It might be wrong.) and it says it has 1470 armor at LVL 5 skills...
Are you sure?

Um tbh the armour hp amount is the least of the rapier's worries. I only fly the rapier now due to the type of pvp I am engaged in. (hangin in a system all day afk most of the time till someone gets careless and looses a ship) I still run a buffer shield tank on it. But these damned web changes have effectivly F*cked the rapier over. I now have to fit 3 webs to stop an inty... I'm not saying the ship is without its place in game just that it has been gimped slightly in the solo relm... my 2 cents...
