I did gallente missions for some time and discovered that my faction standings are like:
Gallente +3.6
Minmatar +0.5
Amar -5.5
Caldari -5.5
I've been told that having lower than -5 standing with faction means I will get shot at by faction ships if i get in their space, so i trained diplomacy&social up to lvl 4. Unfortunately I am still bellow -2 with them and can not get missions from their corps.
I started doing missions for Sisters of EVE and for Amatar Navy in order to improve with Amar however my Gallente droped very fast and I am right now like:
Gallente +1.5
Minmatar +0.5
Ammar -3.3
Caldari -3.1
The questions are:
1. Is it possible that if i continue doing missions like that to have negative bellow -2 standing with all 4 factions??
2. If i alternate faction missions what is the best i can achieve??
3. What will i miss/loose if i give off lets say caldary&amar and do missions only for Gallente/Minmatar?
btw Sisters of EVE LP store sucks... |

1. Train Diplomacy and Connections as high as you can stomach.
2. Learn to appreciate the sheer genius of courier focused corps and their timely use.

You should also be refusing missions from your amarr agents against gallente targets, as shooting gallente ships will give you an instant standing loss.
I'm in a similar situation and have been doing amarr courier missions, I don't seem to get a standing loss on standard missions doing in this way only on storylines.
I don't think you'll ever get the standings for all empire great but by careful rotation and refusing missions against other empires you should be able to keep them all on side.

That is a beautiful table.
I have a quick question for clarification. Does that coincide with character standings. Meaning if I would like to have a character with 7 faction with caldari if I have no social skills trained will I also have a -5 with minny. It is obviously for POS anchoring, however I want to know if I raise it that much will I get shot by any other factions, diplo 5 is a definate possibility if needed. I do not care about getting missions, only being shot.

If you run them all and avoid anti-faction missions, I think you can keep them all around +2.0 base. It's very convoluted and generally not worth the time.
If you want to lock them in once you're not KOS in empire, you simply need to a) not do anti-faction missions like above and b) decline storylines.
