I have seen Xan/FA forces do periodic "sweeps" out from cache up and around using the smuggler gates, so they're not penned in all the time, but that's just common sense. We managed to catch a Xanadu Megathron from on one of those sweeps afew days back in 6-E. The pilot was . . . Stizzum Hilldi or something like that. Sorry lad, cannie mind your exact spelling.
Anyho, they are out going after people as well every now and again and props to em for sniffing about for some action be it miners, industrials or whatever.
