What capital ships can and can't be built at NPC stations? Can any be built or must all be built at POSes?
Specifically I'm looking for info on orcas and freighters (I know the orca isn't a real cap). Can those be build in high sec at NPC stations? |

With the new Large Ship Assembly Array, they can even be built at a high sec POS. |

Components can be built in any station, and the arrays for building them can be anchored anywhere you can put up a POS. --- Can't afford that BPO? Look here. 20:1 mineral compression The EVE f@h team |

In any station with Manufacturing facilities... not all stations have *all* Station Services.
Additionally, where Science and Industry is concerned, you must check carefully to see what Installations (ie, Manufacturing, Copying, Invention, etc) a station's Science and Industry services actually has.

And for clarification, all capitals except for orcas and freighters will be attacked if they are pilotted in high sec, right? |

Orca and Freighters are the only 'capital' ships that can use gates.
All other capitals have to use cynos to move around, and cynos cannot be generated in 0.5+ systems.
The notable exception are the few capitals that were in high sec before CCP closed it off, e.g. Chribba's Veldnaught. |

Freighters, Jump Freighters and Orca's can be built in Higsec Stations or POS. Carriers, Dreads and Rorquals can be built in lowsec stations or POS. Motherships and Titan's can only be built in 0.0 where you have sov in a POS. Components / modules / fighters etc can be built in any sec.

So can a dreadnaught still be build in high sec at a POS? Or is there something against that?
i.e. can the veldnaught be duplicated |

No, you can no longer make Dreads and Carriers in highsec. You can also not move them into highsec. The only ones in highsec currently are the ones built long ago before these rules were added. |

No. Only freighters, jumpfreighters, or orcas. |

A long long time ago, the arrays now know as X-Large ship assembly arrays could be anchored at POS's. They haven't been able to for many years, and the ones that were still anchored were removed within about a week of the Rorqual being released, so there are no Rorquals in highsec, and the only ones that are still there are the ones that were built before that time (which can't be used in combat etc etc or they get removed). |
