Edited by: Rb Chua on 12/01/2009 21:19:15 I've been wondering... what if we move the melting icebergs to Africa or collect the water melted ice from the Arctics, then ship it to Africa.. would that solve rising sea levels and the drought in Africa?

Edited by: Cpt Hound on 12/01/2009 21:26:19 No, i'm gona let you figure that one out.
If you don't figure it out then the simple answer is this, all water, eventually will end up in the sea. Move ice to Africa, it will settle into the ground, flow to the next river, river goes to the sea. Second, water would vaporize, form could, fall down as rain as it cools, settle into the ground, flow to the next river and BAM to the sea.

Simple solution, get all the world's fat people and use them as dikes to prevent flooding. |

Easy. Build a tall ass wall arround the United States...then have everyone in the states hook up a waterhose to their facets, stick the nozels over the wall, and turn them all on. There, we secured the borderss, stopped all droughts, and stopped the wars in the middle east.

There are huge underground rivers under the Saharan desert. |

Edited by: EnslaverOfMinmatar on 13/01/2009 01:39:51 Screw Africa, but maybe in case of global flooding it'd be viable to build a lot of electrolysis w/e they are called apparatus and start electrolysing water. H2 can either escape atmosphere (maybe even build a super tall chimney for it so it doesn't react with O2 lol) or be collected for w/e.
Or just bring sand trout from Arrakis and there won't be any problems with the sea level rising. |

Well, two seas and an ocean, to be exact. Linkage
But anyway, I'm pretty sure drought is an inherent condition of a continent made up of some 34% desert. |

1. Find an ice field 2. Kill all the hulks 3. Pick the largest roid and put a huge drone bay in it 4. Surround the roid with corpses so it wouldn't melt
