Hello everyone!
The other night I took an ambien while still in a mission, completed mission but then it hit, and I forgot to loot the small cargo container. Logging on the next day I had to abandon mission due to the fact I couldn't obtain the container, but the mission technically completed (checked the deadspace area where it was, nothing spawned of course).
Ok so I bite the bullet and abandon, go from 9.6 to 8.8 standings with that agent from one stupid fail, first one in quite some time and quite a standings loss. I can handle that. What is bugging me is for the last 7 missions or so, all of my LP payouts and isk payouts for missions are extremely low. About half of what they should be. And lame missions as well. Coincidence? Is that agent still really ****y after one fail? It's a high-sec agent but in .5 space, and my normal missions were around 1200 LP (at 8.8 standings and higher) and around a million or so in payout. Halved now consistently.
Is this normal for an agent to do that, or just coincidence?

Because the mission de spawned and you didnt loot the can i would petition it for the standings to be added back.

Agent standings are factored into your mission rewards/bonuses/LP, so you would have seen a decrease based on your lower standing with the agent. That and probably bad luck on getting crappy missions.
BTW, work on your social skills. 1200LP and 1mil ISK per mission on an L4 agent in 0.5 space is pretty darn low (unless I'm assuming you're running L4's but are in fact only running L3's).

The agent is actually a lvl 3 quality 15 agent. I tend to run all of my missions with this one as at this point, my skills aren't quite enough to go for lvl 4's. Well, I can do lvl 4's but it just takes too long, and a bit too risky with certain missions. Thanks for the input! :)

agent standing contributes very little to quality/rewards ... and going down from 9.6 to 8.8 is not a big loss that would warrant noticably less rewards ... |

Too many players are too quick to tell other members to petition CCP for game play results. Members want good AI, but when the game uses AI, members complain.
C'mon. Just play and be thankful the game is not so simple and easy.
