CCP Claw	Posted - 2009.01.14 09:31:00 - [1] Since inquiring minds want to know, here's a few tidbits of information regarding what went on in the signups. 17 teams signed up within the first minute 37 teams signed up within the first hour The first team to sign up was The Five, with a time of 14 seconds. The first 64 teams were signed up by 14:37:35, and of these 64 signups, 55 made it into the final team listing after automatic places for previous competitors and militias were taken into account. The 101st team signed up at 00:02 on 20/12/08, signalling the end of signups. That's over 100 teams in a little over a day! (if you're wondering why signups closed at a strange number like 101, it's because we put a limit on the signups database of 100 entries, but database entries count from 0 upwards - hence 101) Of the teams that signed up, 12 teams paid late; 7 of them were signed up in the first 60 places, but none of them made it into the tournament

I tried to sign Razor up with the first 10 minutes of the registration period and got a message that there were no slots left. A while later, perhaps one or two hours later, one of my corp members mentioned that registration was still taking place. I quickly went back and tried to register Razor again and got an immediate confirmation that we were in. I also received details on where to send the isk. I immediately sent in 500M isk to CCP Mindstar. I see Razor did not make the tournament?? nor did I get the 500M isk back that I sent in. Can we atleast get our isk back??

ISK is returned as per the stickies.

Posted - 2009.01.18 01:44:00 - [18] Going wayyy out on a limb here, but perhaps someone can explain the logic of not refunding the entry fees of those alliances who ARE NOT IN THE TOURNAMENT until after the tournament is over?? You have this utter debacle of a signup process (I'm not arguing the devotion of getting online in time, but the signups were "closed" then re-opened) then make all the alliances who didn't get in (yet paid their fee) wait more weeks for it to be returned? What the hell is this? I understand CCP isn't a bank, but why exactly do you need our isk for a month and a half or more? ______________ Ooooh, Shiny
