I'm starting to get bored with Eve and may go back to planet side on a permanent basis. Any junkies left?

I refuse to go back to a game where I hear things like "It is fun gaining experience points," "I'll have fun when I am BR20, CR5," and "I'm a higher BR than you, so that means I am better than you."
Planetside was a great game, with its high point during closed beta. The community ruined it.

I refuse to go back to a game where I hear things like "It is fun gaining experience points," "I'll have fun when I am BR20, CR5," and "I'm a higher BR than you, so that means I am better than you."
Planetside was a great game, with its high point during closed beta. The community ruined it.

Still waiting for WoW Beta to start, which will probably be a good excuse to finaly leave EVE  ...
The reason is that I'm starting to get bored due to no new content; and these hundreds of exactly the same Megathrons and Apocs with almost the same setups are killing me  .
Gimme different character levels again, different roles, or at least a way you can properly derive a veteran from a rookie (it's the guys with the biggest mouth on the forums that are probably top notch ? ). You can't even tell from the employment history how good a player is: the corp I started with is gone from the list  , so that proves it ain't correct. ( yes I know, it wasn't implemented at launch, so it's not the full list )
Maybe I will still wait and try Shiva though. If the Dreadnoughts finally make it at or after implemention of Shiva, that is.

As for the community ruining it.. I just don't deal with the community. I play the game, I kill things, I run people over in a Magrider and talk with my outfit mates. I avoid the forums like the plague cause 90% of the people on there are idiots.

Played it from beta to late spring. I'm a DRUCKWELLE member on the werner server, but have stopped playing some while ago. One of the reasons was that I got tired of leveling, was a terran Br20 cr4 in autumn and resetted to Vanu. Just to realize 3 weeks after it that they merged some american servers and you could play two different factions on one account now. I left around the time when the home continents were removed, because of NO new content at all.
Luv CCP, they're always working on new content which is the most important thing about mmogs.

There's been a BIT of new content, but really not enough I agree. The new Deliverer variants are a lot of fun, the Core Combat stuff can be fun but it's really badly balanced, the Lodestar is great.
They're going to be adding 4 new islands to fight on, more closed in and fast paced they're supposed to be. Will have to see how those turn out.
