So, in the past month or two the price of trit has gone up by one full isk. It is now hovering in the 4isk range. So being the part time miner, I'm not too upset about it. But now I'm curious. Whats going on with trit that I'm not seeing?
Winter months tend to bring more people to their computers, more people should mean more miners. Which would mean more competition. Which should mean lower prices. Then again, more people means more mission runners and pvpers.
At the same time Tech3 is a few months away. Are people buying up as much trit as they can now with an expectation that Tech3 ships will be in high demand and require loads of it?
Is this just some random spike in speculator buying?
Just a bit on the curious side. If you "know" and would like to keep your profits secure by all means, don't tell me. On the other hand if you are just as curious as me, feel free to post.

I think you'd give the change a lot more justice if you said it as a percentage...
Going from 3isk to 4 isk is a 33% percent jump!

Orca, capital ship losses, Chribba taking a slight break from mining, to name a few.

My money is on increased server performance leading to larger fleet battles and increased demand for capital ships of all kinds, coupled with the removal of several sources of NPC trit. |

Decided to save some time here. Instead of calling you what you are, in detail, I just reported your trolling. |

Brilliant, thanks :)
edit: btw, implying that someone is a troll simply because of their name...as you do above...is also trolling as well, really...I have reported your trolling too! |

long story short, ISK farmers have largely transitioned from mining to lvl 4 mission running, its decreased the supply dramatically |

If I'm an alt, then the sky is green. Which it is apparently in your world since the obvious and sane have no place in it. |

Or just buy modules and reprocess them. I can get several million units of trit a day for less than 2 ISK a unit.
1. Buy modules 2. Reprocess 3. Sell minerals at market price 4. ??? 5. Profi!!! |

Shhh! You can't say those things aloud! Reprocess... Items for Minerals... really!
One of the things that might have had influence is that mineral prices used to be capped (remember the shuttle for tritanium).
