If someone steals something from guy. He becomes flashy to the whole corp. Except if you're in a newb corp.

Can thieves are flagged to the player's corp, not just the player. Any player in the corp can shoot at the flagged thief.

If you have a player who is blue to your corp who is being harrassed by a can thief you can have some fun by grouping with the blue player and laying a can out for them. Sometimes you can catch one who isn't checking who he's stealing from. Blue player announces theft and corp warps in from adjacent belt. |

Don't worry, the ore is laundered first to make it clean for the Great Emperor

Yes, the same thing happened to me as ****starcaron, a corp. mate was mining and a guy flipped his can, he called for help and me and another corp. mate came to help, he gave us a fleet invite, my corp. mate started shooting him and a buddy of his came in and I started to shoot him, both were flashing red, but when I tried to shoot him a concord warning popped up....WTF

In my experience there's a tiny bit of lag time. First the guy takes from your can, and starts flashing red on the overview the next time the overview refreshes (usually very fast). Then you hit your guns. If you're fast on the trigger, about once in ten times you'll get the Concord warning because of this bit of lag time I'm talking about.
A counted "one one-hundred" pause before turning on your guns usually avoids this problem. If you *do* get the warning, decline the hostile action and then try it again -- by then, you should be clear to shoot. I've never gotten the bogus Concord warning a second time. ------------------ Ironfleet.com |
