Consider these recent changes that go against past notions and comments that CCP liked 'alternative gameplay'
1. Scanning nerf no1 - after they had made it accesable and usable by all, they nerfed it again so it took much longer to complete a scan 2. 'attempted' Orca nerf - breaking a macro so that you cant change ships in space while aggressed, but curiosly for hisec orcas only 3. Scanning nerf no2 - you now need anything scanned to 25% to see what class of ship it is
My initial suspicion is some CCP alt got ganked by some mission invading ninja and decided to make the game all warm and fuzzy again
Hisec is supposed to be safe rite? then i guess its best that you do all you can to protect the innocent carebearing community that dutifully pays their monthly subs that means you can continue living the life in $1,000 jeans.
Another thing, prior warning of changes that you are making i hope isnt classed as a breach of NDA, because it would be great to know in advance when and where you plan to break the game

The ship maintenance bay nerf should have been placed on all ships with bays and everywhere in space.
I propose a question to you. Why do self titled "tear collectors" themselves generate a lot of tears? |

to answer a question with a question;
is it wrong to comment on CCP actively nerfing and placing hurdles in front of those who would be innovative and creative with the game in the name of protecting hisec carebears who initiate PVP and then die because of it?
whats next?
removal of hisec aggro mechanics? |

If you don't like the nerfs then maybe you should find a game that's more your style? Or maybe change with the changes and find a way to keep doing what you're doing? Aren't you innovative enough to think of ways to keep going? Someone makes what you like doing a little bit harder and suddenly you can't cope?
Grow some balls man!
It just means you'll get really good at scanning. Maybe you could start scanning down wormholes and start looking for treats there, instead of silly mission runners who don't understand that they shouldn't shoot at you?

this is not a nerf...its a bug fix... you were supposed to see the ship class but until today it didnt work correctly. Today's patch is supposed to fix it |

Not so bad as that I still have no idea how to make a proper BM for a JF or the like at a gate or station. Real fun seeing them bumb off or land way too far to dock or jump instantly.

At least CCP care enough about your little corner of New Eden to acknowledge it exists by working on it. Some people don't even have negative things to say because CCP appears to have forgotten entire game mechanics even exist.

Orca's were removing all highsec aggro mechanics. In a second, you could store your ship, jet your pod out and be completely safe. 100% consequence free.
CCP fixed what you are worried about happening. Cry less buddy, crisis averted.

1. Scanning Nerf No. 2 is no nerf. AS far as I can understand it now works that you can see if its an anomalie/Structure or Ship if you are below 25% and couldn't before.
2. Orcas: So what? Still can do that in the station. And "picked on your frigate" is kind of nice wording, that is exactely what you wanted ;). It was "nerfed" because of those avoidance tactics described. That you didn't use those doesn't make them nonexistant
3. Scanning Nerf No.1 wasn't really a nerf ebcause now you can have more than 4 probes count for your scan which made it pretty much easier for everybody using 6 probes (Oktaeder being easier to form than Tertaeder ^^)
Stop whining and adapt like everybody else. Mission running carebears are stille asy targets as always so why do you complain? If they make PvP-Fits viable for PvE you should be more worried because of them fighting back effectively.
Come to 0.0 or lowsec for opponents instead of victims |

You always had the ability to completely avoid the consequences of your actions. Even if the battle in your bigger ship didn't go your way, you could tuck it back in the Orca and warp off. That sounds pretty "carebear" to me, the option to completely opt out of PvP.
Could you answer my original question? |

Is this a troll? haven't seen many JF to the gate or bump off a station though i've heard of bump off a station before. I usually warp to the station and then maybe fly towards it 5-10km and then cyno. That's how they can dock without bumping anything. I assume JF just cyno to station like that and warp to gate from there. |

I thought it was because in a group of people when you pick on someone other people are less likely to pick on you. It's a way to ward off attacks against you. the side effect is that person's sadness. isn't it better that someone else is sad than feeling sad yourself when someone picks on you? I don't think people feel happy when they make others sad. I think its more that you feel safer, because you feel stronger?
I could be wrong tho, depends on the person. |
