Abundant in both ores and close too 0.0 (ideal you would have thought). But then came the sting, pirates bloody 1,000's of them running at us from all directions. We fought tooth and nail too make what we had come too consider home safe for us too live in. But over time we fought ourself's too a standstill and kinda had a unoficial NAP with them (we also had a realy good laugh). At last a reprive in the continued fighting we could now get on with what we came too do "carebear" mining. We set out too mine in Providence region and found Spod. It ws heaven too us. But then, what was this whilst mining there we was attacked by members of the Stain alliance, upon further investigation too this unprovoked attack i was informed "this is a war zone all are considered KOS" ok it was a little late for the 2 bs's we lost but maybe a warining first i thought. So we licked our wounds and headed back too Kheram. Only too be met by Forces of valhalla anouncing they are here too "kill every1". Oh dear this was not what we needed. Where was PIE at this time when we needed protection from pirates and random corps killing us. So i did what i had too and talked with my previous enemies too rid Kheram of this smack talking corp (belive me they could realy smack talk). And that we did in 7 days a corp of 87 mebers was reduced too 2 \o/. Now at last it ws all quite we could get on with mining ores and building ships. But oh no it seemed my life as a miner was well and truly over as Storm guard elite, MASS, Collective and intergalactic serenity decided too move into Kheram because of internal troubles in Stain. I was amazed at the amount of times i was locked at belts or gates now considering locking some1 is closely followed by a hail of death i was too say on edge. I tried too reason with the CEO's of the corps in question but was told " we dont give a st what the locals think of us" I was labeled a spy and SGE set there standing too -10 towards me personally and was met with laughter and smack talk. I waited as long as diplomacy would allow but with no option left i declared war against Storm gaurd elite who was the only CEO too be quite colourful in his mails too me. 5 v's 107 (2 alts, me, a pothead and a guy who didnt play any more)some say it was suicide i say it was my turn too get some payback. Over the next few weeks i realsised that my previous enemies (above mentioned pirates) was also at war with these so called protectors of the inocent. So i finaly had no choice but too fight alongside those which i had fought against so many times b4. It was my first time i felt like i had people i could trust from other corps on my side, pirates was the only people ready too defend my small corp. Now again where was PIE when i was threatened by these people too defend me from this unprovoked assault by Stain. Nowhwere too be seen. So the war went well from my point of view and in the end i negotiated a peace with SGE. But the aftermath of this was that Soul Cartel was born. We had fought against each other and now i was proud too fight along side these so called pirates. Then another 1 of my memebrs was atacked and killed by a member of MASS in 0.0 probably some aftermath of our war with their allies. So what am i too do here ? lets put this briefly I am attacked by Stain because its a war zone, I am targeted by Stain because they dont give a st what i think, and then am attacked again by MASS for no reason at all from my point of view. I decree that all members of Stain are now considered KOS too my corp as i have had enough of the bully boy tactics these people use and there lack of respect for the smaller/unheard of corps they have. Now it seems my corp has become a thorn in the side of MASS as they have delcared war on my corp, not the first corp of Stain i have anoyed and with there arrogant attitude probably not the last. I would like too finish on this if like me you want a peacful existance in Eve it wont happen, those that profess they are the protectors of the masses are never there too help you and oftern change the goalposts accordingly. I never set out in Eve too be what i am now labeled as "terrorist/pirate" but circumstance has forced my hand into the path of "freedom fighter". I will continue too fight as long as i am able and any1 interested in joining me or the alliance we are all proud too be a part of please contact me ingame. We have, however, recieved plenty of reports of you actually engaging in piracy (LEGION corp), not to mention SOUL CARTEL as a whole, and as such we will take action. We are not omnipotent, we need to know about piracy before we can do anything about it. So if the grief heaped on you through the piratical actions of others is the reason yourselves now have turned to the 'dark side' so be it. We are not responsible for this, the decision to go pirate is entirely yours alone. Oh and please drop the 'freedom fighter' badge as well, your lot are nothing of the kind ;) See you around. ----------------------------------------------

I remember travelling to that system before SA attacked SC, and we got smack in local from Icelandic SC members telling us to ** of, that they'd kill us, and ** like that. Now... that hardly isn't very prudent of any small corp getting their foot in the door close to 0.0. The Collective got a war decleration from some SC corp, that later after those "days" or week of small engagements was retracted. Possibly because hostilities stopped from both sides, I don't know. What I dont understand is, why the constant gate ganking? We all understand eye for an eye, but hostilities had stopped, from both sides. Both sides had lost ships, so on and so forth. Poor show or what :(. Stain have got some front to lord it over "their" claimed territory in 0.0 AND their officially unclaimed and small 0.0 territory in providence. If you want to pass through to empire and stuff then perhaps it might be an idea not to irritate the people who 'live' in those regions, a bit of common sense you might think, basic politeness. These qualities are certianly not abundant in the stain members i have come across. We've had some fun these last few weeks. First ATUK decided they didnt like us because we killed a few mining alts or something...our ore ;), then PIE attempt to "clean" amarr of all unwanted elements - lads i suggest you trade in that dyson, you guys certainly have't lost "suction". So finally we annoy MASS again for...ummm...doing EVE like things, personally i think they've got better things to worry about. Like CA...and FA encroaching a little...and stain resembling its name. Where DID i leave that domestos...? Semper Fidelis Legion boys, we are here, shag your women and drink your beer! :)

aim9xcite	Posted - 2004.07.28 09:19:00 - [29] Edited by: aim9xcite on 28/07/2004 09:23:07 does it truly matter how this all started. there is no storyline for this game to follow - we all have our own story as to how we got started down the path that we now find oursleves in. everything happens because of the actions or inactions of the players - just as it is in r/l. you play the game and you suffer the consequences of your actions and decisions, and since we all think differently our decisions and actions bring us to different consequences, but in the end we all suffer them in some form. as for personal vendettas against people - i tend to think that unless you truly know someone you cannot truly dislike them. i have made a few friends in this game and a few enemies im sure but i dont hold grudges or vendettas against any of my enemies - but as i said we dont all think and act alike so i never have expected anyone to be the same as me (that would be a scary thought in and of itself). play on, have fun and dont take this stuff to seriously saddest day in EVE by far is when my sec rating went positive........sobs
