Ypu can fully drain then in 1 cycle and have enough dps left over to kill them before concord arrives? |

I have a CNR, ive personally not been attacked by anyone in high sec, Not Yet anyway!
How long does it actually take for concord to respond to a combat situation? does it depend on the security status of the system?
If you not gunna fly your CNR because you scared of it being ganked, why did you buy it?
End of the day its just a game and a CNR can be replaced (eventually) |

unless ur cnr is fitted with modules worth 10 times the cnr itself, no one wail bother togank you, if it is a t2 fit or just cn modules, crap stuff, u can fly safely. .
I see their pain, on some level i even understand their pain... i just can't feel their pain. |

Originally by: FT Diomedes They certainly used to happen more frequently, but only if the ship was pimped enough to make it worth the ISK needed to kill it. I have not heard or seen a suicide gank since QR.
I got high-sec ganked since the QR update, granted i was in a retriever, but still, 2 caracals did me in. had to stay to watch the fireworks. xD

raven fit for ganking (maybe large shield exenders and a dcu? might be the difference in the last volley getting to the target or not)
6 arby seige launchers, 2 heavy neuts target painter, warp disruptor, sensor boosters BCUS! 3 sentry drones (or 5 hammerheads
each raven will be neuting for 1000-1200 depending on how much they want to spend. I just looked in jita and well meta 0-3 neuts are all almost the same price, so I would guess that they would be draining 1150 cap using 2 meta3 neuts (although 2 meta 4s would only be around 1mil isk). I think it was around 6 ravens to gank in a .5 (pre qr), so that is well over 6k cap alpha, max skilled raven has 6641 cap, and well plenty of people seem to be fitting cap flux coils which brings it down to 5977 cap. so basically they won't have cap. |

I've only had one attack in my history of flying a CNR and that was someone in a T1 fitted Ferox. You could tell it was made to attack someone and be cheap enough to replace. All that happened is he came out, began shooting at me, realized my shields were not dropping at all, even though I still had aggro from 5 mission battleships, and then he was quickly Concorded (around 7 seconds before the mighty Concord showed). I loved salvaging his ship right in front of him in his pod.

Originally by: Les Grossman Battleship suicide attacks are a myth. They don't happen. I've flown full officer fit bs's a year everywhere in high sec and have had many 'threats' that I'll be suicide ganked but it's practically impossible to suicide gank a ship with that many effective hp's.
Don't keep it docked, CNR wants to fly!
By all means, if you have the CNR fly the damn thing, rather than sitting docked in fear - but such ganking does happen. I've seen more than one CNR go down. You have to remember, a shocking number of CNR pilots haven't the faintest idea what they hell they're doing, or how to fit and fly it.

The key is no one will gank a T2 fitted CNR
Nearly no one will attack a faction fitted CNR
There is just isnt enough profit in it. |

If some dude comes in flipping cans to provoke you, just laugh at him and go on whit your mission..All he is waiting for is for you to take a shoot at him,so he and maybe his buddys can return and gank you.....Other than that you should be pretty safe..
