ECM - White Noise Generator II All prints are researched to ME 100 and PE 100 Auction rules Auction ends: Sunday 2011.09.18 22:00 EVE Time Sniping rule: 15 minutes Ingame bids: Not accepted Starting bid: 6b (for each print) Buyout: None Min. bid increment: 0.25b Handout: By item exchange in safe space Reserve: 10b for each. As in I want 40b for them all so if I get more then 10b for some I'm willing to let others got for less then 10b. But not under the starting bid of 6b. Sniper rule Since there was some missunderstanding on the sniper rule in my last auction I want to illustrate what I mean when I say "Sniper rule: 15 minutes". To avoid any debate lets just call this "my version" of the sniper rule. If there is 15 minutes sniper rule this mean that after every bid for an item it will prolong the auction 15 minutes. Giving the other bidders the opportunity to rethink there offer and bid higher or withdraw from the auction. This will indeed maximize the value of an item and give every one the opportunity of bidding to there maximized finance ability according the there estimated value for that item. For example: Lets say an auction has an end time of 22:00 and a sniper rule 15 minutes. Then the last bid before sniper rule will take effect is 21:45. If a bid is placed at that time (21:45) or before then auction will end at 22:00. But if a bid is made after 21:45, lets say 21:48, then the auction will end 15 minutes later. There fore at 22:03. And if another bidder bids before the 15 minutes run out the time is renewed. This will go on untill no one places a bid 15 minutes from last bid. Like this: Bid made at 21:48 ->> other bidders have until 22:03 to make a new bid. A nother bid made at 21:55 ->> other bidders have untill 22:10 to make a new bid. A nother bid made at 22:09 ->> other bidders have untill 22:24 to make a new bid. This can go on for a very long time. That's why the min bid increment has to be well though out, often about 2-10% of starting bid. To whom dose the sniper rule apply? "All" You don't have to place a bid before the end time of auction to be able to take part in the sniper. As long as the auction is still open (as in: before 22:00 or before 15 minutes have passed since last bid) you can place your bid. Since this auction has multiple items (four prints) the sniper rule will effect each item separately. So if no bids are made to item 1 after 21:45 the auction for that item ends at 22:00. But the auction could still be open on other items. Lets say if bid has been made after 21:45 to item 2, lets say 21:55, then the auction for that item will not end untill 22:10, unless some one bids higher. I've had this understanding of the sniper rule sicne 2003 when I started working the sell order forum. I though other had that too. But it seems like some other versions have surfaced here on the forums through out the years. This is the sniper rule I want for my auction so pleace don't post your version here and let's not debate this here. This is my auction and my rules.
