There are some blogs in the works, though we don't have an ETA on them yet except for as soon as we get them we'll run them through the process and get them published.
As for Singularity, it is for testing and not for sneak peeks, but normally it comes up when things are ready for public testing so there's no real ETA there either.

So what you are trying to say is, "SoonÖ"

Well this sounded like "Quite Soon™" for the DevBlogs and like "come back in a month or two" for Sisi.

Well, the wikipedia article starts: Apocrypha (from the Greek word ἀπόκρυφα, meaning "those having been hidden away"[1])... This is what we mean with EVE Online: Apocrypha. It does continue with "...are texts of uncertain authenticity, or writings where the authorship is questioned" but that's obviously not why this expansion is is named Apocrypha. Though I suppose until we see those blogs there may be a bit of humor in the whole situation if you consider the name.

Oh .. its not yet ready for public testing but the relase date is aleady known. March 10th.
But i propose the following for T3:
- There will be 12500 variations (4 * 5 * 5 * 5 * 5 * 5) but i think only 1/2 or maximum 5 per race will be really "usefull".
- The first ships will be very very expensive.
- They will hit TQ extreme prenerved. Can you pronounce "Blackops"?
Best Regards

Actually he's single, got dumped, dog was run over and he hates walking anywhere. He's hardly even human.
Which means he's turned to mining! The speculation on mining changes is rife, and now proof they are in the works!

QFT! The least you can do when giving us new pre-nerfed content that you at least fix the old pre-nerfed content like the Blackops and make it perform its intended role properly, should have been done a long time ago already. |

Funny thing, WoW's expansion had a promotional frost wyrm named frosty with the collectors edition. How cute. Possibly another reason I don't play it. |

I still have no idea what T3 is about. "Modular ships"? What the heck does that mean? ALL ships in eve are modular... well, except freighters...

The difference is that before, you had one basic ship hull that you stuck bits onto such as weapons, armor and shield mods, etc. With T3 ships you will actually assemble ship hulls out of components that have their own properties.

The difference is that before, you had one basic ship hull that you stuck bits onto such as weapons, armor and shield mods, etc. With T3 ships you will actually assemble ship hulls out of components that have their own properties.
The distinction is mostly graphical. Modules already affect base stats, and dramatically change the purpose of a ship. You get resources (slots, cpu, grid, drone bay, cargo space) and you maximize it. Rigs and boosters mostly work on a similar principle as T3; instead of resources you have trade offs of certain bonuses for certain penalties.
The only thing the current system doesn't do is change the number of slots and hardpoints you get, which itself is fairly irrelevant now. When EVE had just Frigates, Cruisers and BS those differences were significant. Now we have hundreds of ships and over a dozen classes, with too many of them being similar.
So unless T3 comes with new combat mechanics, customization is just an added level of complexity to waste your time with. We'll see, but I don't think CCP is going to touch ship and combat balance in any fundamental ways with T3. |
